Mount Batur Sunrise Trek and Hot Spring are one of the most popular activities to do in Bali.

The guided tour will take you and your loved ones on a beautiful quest of a little adventure. The tour usually starts as early as 2 am depending on your hotel location. After a short drive, you will be ready to climb a short trek for the next 2-3 hours.

The best bonus of this trip is the sunrise, one can just watch the sun rising from the horizon or get busy taking beautiful postcard-quality pictures.

The descent from the trek is topped-up with more fun by passing via one of the best Hotsprings in Bali, taking a dip there is not only recommended for physical ailments but also to simply relax your body after the trek.

This is the trip where you will see that famous depiction of Bali in the postcards with the lake, temple and volcanic mountain in the background. And, not to mention the famous Luwak coffee plantation that you will pass by on your way to the hotel.

Used company for Mt Batur trip and mountain walk as well as for pick ups and collections for when travelling to and from The Gili islands. Fantastic time keeping, such respectful guides and insightful when giving us information about their culture and different areas. Agunk and his team really helped me and my girlfriend feel welcome in Bali :-)

This tour was honestly one of the best and most fulfilling experiences, I would recommend to anyone who is visiting Bali. Agunk was excellent, he picked us up at 2:30am and took us to base camp where we met our tour guide Brayen Bom. We were expecting to be in a large group, but were pleasantly surprised when we realised it was 1-1. Brayen was unbelievably knowledgable about the mountain and made us feel extremely safe and encouraged us all of the way in addition to providing a helping hand through some of the more difficult parts of the climb. When we got to the top he found us a good spot for the sunrise and provided a lovely breakfast from his wife’s warung. Once we had seen the sunrise (which was breathtaking) Brayen and Agunk arranged for us to be picked up halfway down which saved our tired legs! We were then taken to the hot springs which was amazing and a nice way to relax and decompress after the climb. It was excellent value for money considering the level of service we received and we are planning to do this exact tour when we return we thought it was that good

Thank you to Agunk of Ubud Area Tours who made our honeymoon to Bali amazing!! Before leaving UK, I searched various drivers via TripAdvisor. Some were attractive in price, others were reasonable but didn't tick all the right boxes for us, but something about Agunk just made sense to go with him. The communication, professionalism, customer service is A Star rated and very down to earth! Agunk is very knowledgeable and certainly unique to other drivers out there. Without a doubt, he lined up the best Mount Batur Sunrise Trek with the friendliest, helpful and wonderful guide who even serenaded us at the top with his guitar! It was definitely an experience like no other We used Agunks services for a transfer from one place to another, and along the way (for an extra fee of course) we were able to have a tour of some places including waterfalls and temples. Agunk is a great guy; very friendly, interactive and full of lots of knowledge. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to use a driver and happy to pay for quality and safety! Thank you brother!

Agunk provided a great trek experience, was quick to respond to my emails and was able to accommodate our last minute plans. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second day of touring with him and transfer to the airport. Don’t hesitate to contact him for all your Ubud area needs. This tour guide is the BEST! Most of the guides on the island are very good but this group was the ultimate. Also when booking thru an app you are typically routed to any number of subcontractors- this is the one that you want to use directly. The prices will be reasonable and the guides are great and knowing when to talk (and more importantly very educated on subject matter) and when to allow you to have the moments you came for.
