  Regardless of weather, Mount Batur Sunrise Trek with our tour guide Yus was truly amazing experience. It is worth the time, money, and hike. Weather is always changing, so the sunrise is always a pleasant surprise when you see it. It's absolutely stunning even with the clouds, looks like the Stairway to heaven. I want to give a special shout out and thanks to my guide Yus. He was extremely kind, caring, and professional. He is always checking on you. More importantly, he was very personable and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions about every aspect of Bali life. He always kept the conversation going naturally. I felt like I made a good friend after the hike. His english is fluent, so talking to him was very easy. In some ways, I enjoyed his company more than the hike. The experience and view wouldn't be the same without him. Our driver Dibya was extremely polite. He is always with a smile, and he always makes you feel welcome. He is confident driver, so we were able to rest well on the road an still get to the meeting point early. Please, please, please request Yus and Dibya for your mount batur trek. Their warm hearts are more important than a warm jacket on the hike.

  We had a great time doing the Mount Batur sunrise trek. Unfortunately we had no luck with the weather so didn't get to see a sunrise but was still a fun experience. Our guide Komang Raka was fantastic and really made the trip worthwhile despite the weather.

  The tour was really well organised and ran smoothly, we got picked up from our hotel then got dropped to where we were starting the hike. Komang Raka was our tour guide he was really friendly and helpful and made sure we stayed safe and had fun while hiking. The weather wasn’t the best which made the conditions and hike more difficult, however I would still recommend I would just wear sensible clothes and footwear and be aware of the conditions. After the hike we went to a coffee plantation which was a nice end to the tour. Overall a great tour would recommend.

• Worth waking up early!!! Wear the right shoes, and bring a jacket!!!

  Highly recommend this tour! Our driver, Ketut, was fantastic, navigating the windy, bumpy roads like a true pro, and Raka led a great hike and tour. This trek is not for the unfit or anyone afraid of heights or beginners. Wear correct footwear and bring layers. There is an option if you are fatigued, to take motorbike up with a different guide for $. It was nice to see the views from the top, however you may not see a sunrise due to cloudiness/ fog. Still worth it for great views, and seeing the steam from active volcano. Also, a great view of Lake Batur. The visit to the natural hot spring and coffee plantation is very enjoyable after the hike. Bring cash on hand to tip and card for possible purchase of coffee. Swimsuit and change of clothes for hot spring too.

  Got to hike up Mt Batur. A good physical challenge but my guide Yus was super nice and patient and made good conversation the whole way. Views at the top are astonishing. Definitely a great value if you like being active while you travel!

  Absolutely loved this hike with Wira and Yus! They were so welcoming from the very start and we felt supported the entire time. The hike had a bit more elevation than we were initially expecting, but the views at the top of the mountain were completely worth the climb.   We really enjoyed this tour and loved that it allowed us to experience multiple attractions. Our guides, Komang and Gede were fantastic, both being adaptable, easy-going and informative. Highly recommend.

  We had a great time with Alex as a guide! Despite the early morning and steep climb, the view was so worth it. It was like nothing we had ever seen before. Very much recommend doing it!
