•Alternative Viewing Options: If you prefer not to hike, you can skip the 5th Station and still enjoy breathtaking, close-up views of Mt. Fuji from other scenic locations.

Chureito Pagoda
The Chureito Pagoda is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings.
Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals. You can see very close view of Mt fuji from there is weather conditions is good

5.00We had the most amazing day. Our guide, Abdul was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He took photos of our group throughout the day and provided us with a video compilation of our tour. He definitely went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Terrific day trip for our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Everyone had a great day. Abdul was super friendly and knowledgeable and customised our day to take us to the places we wanted to go. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable. We never felt rushed during the day and we covered multiple stops. Starting nice and early was perfect as we got to places and they weren’t too busy. Definitely recommend this trip - it was well worth it. Thanks Abdul!

5.00We got to see a lot of the countryside, temples, shrines and Mt Fuji! We were picked up from the front of our hotel and spent the day exploring. It was really fun and our tour guide was kind and informative!

5.00We somehow got redirected to Abdul Waheed for our Mt. Fuji / Lake Kawaguchi trip, and I am so glad we had the chance to meet and spend the day with such a great guide. I couldn't recommend him more - and I'm not an easy client to please, nor is my son, believe me. But Abdul won us over with his friendliness at first glance, at 7 am, before we even knew that he and the driver had actually driven two hours from the suburbs of Tokyo, just to pick us up on time (and I was late!). His English is excellent, he is well-informed, articulate, and a true professional - yet also easy to talk to. He's very engaging and knows how to spark curiosity in his guests, showing us not only shrines, watermills etc., but also unexpected details like roots of forest trees, explaining the causes of such peculiar growth. Fascinating stuff. Plus, he distributed time so skillfully that we were able to see seven places on our itinerary and have a nice lunch without any rush, before returning to Tokyo on time. All this, while also accommodating my wish to visit Fujisan Museum too. All in all, I highly recommend Abdul Waheed as a guide and any trip he is in charge of. If he were my student, he'd get an A+ from me. Great memories made that day.

5.00Abdul was very informative and very kind! He made our day very meaningful by explaining every detail about every place he took us to! The boat ride was relaxing, the gondola ride was lovely and the views of Mt Fuji were spectacular! Lastly the museum was such a nice punctuation to the day! Book this tour, you won’t regret it! ❤️
