Next, visit the beautiful coastal town of Sausalito, a gorgeous Mediterranean-style village with quaint shops and waterfront restaurants. If a one-hour stop in Sausalito isn't enough for you, you can extend your stay by upgrading your tour to include the Sausalito ferry back to San Francisco.

3.0The instructions stated to meet the bus 20 mins before departure (10:40am) and the bus ended up late and not showing until 11:15am. The road to Muir is an incredibly narrow and windy road which led to a patron getting physically sick on the bus and having to pull over again delaying trip. Muir wood is really great, but the service could have been better for the cost.

5.0My friends and I had a great time on this tour! Our tour guide was wonderful and gave us such interesting information about the area. The woods are simply beautiful and a must-visit. I would highly recommend this tour!

5.0I loved the contrast offered in places so close to each other! The incredible beauty and grandness of the hundreds-old trees, the rumor (and at times the roar) of the water flowing down, and even the pouring rain make you simply happy, connected, and "down to earth." And the man-made, old-style beauty and comfort of Sausalito overlooking San Francisco make you contemplate and give thanks for being able to make the trip.

5.0Muir woods has always been on my list of places to visit. Our day trip with Viator to Muir Woods and Sausalito was a delightful exploration of the San Francisco Bay Area's natural beauty and charming coastal town charm.
