Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age is 7 years, and all minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Emergency life jackets onboard; standard life jackets are for children only.

5.00Captain J’s Napali Coast Super Raft Tour was everything we hoped for, and more. Absolutely phenomenal, and we completely recommend you give it a go! Even without the stunning coastline and the amazing scenery (which lets face it, is the reason you’re looking at the tour), the boat and the crew and the time spent on and in the water, make this tour a sensation. We were fortunate enough to be captained by Nohili and assisted by his sidekick Cannon, for an entertaining and educational boat ride along the amazing coastline, the likes of which you’re unlikely to find anywhere else in the world (?). Coupled with their knowledge of Hawaiian history and culture, and their very obvious enjoyment of their work (the best office in the world!), the tour was high speed and thrilling, jumping off wave tops, launching through the air, squeezing into ocean caves and rock clefts, but in the very unexpected comfort of a big solid boat, decent seating, and very excellent guides. Bring the kids along, they won’t get bored, but leave grandma and grandad behind on this one. The snorkelling at the end was sensational, and sitting out at sea, in the calm waters at the end of the day, watching the sun drop below the horizon, after being battered and wind blown and exhilarated, and loving every single minute of it, was the perfect way to end the day, before roaring back into harbour like delinquent teenagers in a hotted up muscle car! Perfect! Loved it! Giggled like little kids. And Nohili can actually speak whale, we heard him. A+++

5.00Just returned from an amazing trip to Kauai! One of my favorite parts of my trip was the Na’Pali coast boat tour with Captain Andrew and Matt. Not only were the views of the coast absolutely surreal and breathtaking, but the Knowledge and skill that Captain Andrew and Matt demonstrated made this tour top notch. Their Love for this island and their jobs was very evident. They created such a fun atmosphere and were so attentive to all the guests on board. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kaua’i. You will not regret it! Thank you again Captain Andrew and Matt.

5.00My tour guides were super knowledgeable and very informative about the island. I’d have to say my two favorite tours were this one and the helicopter tour—both offered such an intimate way to experience the island up close. The snorkeling was incredible, and the captain and crew made the entire experience even better. Everyone was professional, friendly, and truly made sure we had an unforgettable time. Overall, 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!

5.00This was by the best experience ever ! Captain No No and co captain KaNa were the best guides Ever !!! They were so informative, kind , caring n knowledgeable!!! Very professional, yet fun! I would highly recommend this tour to any and everyone! It is worth every penny ! Bonus we even go to see a whale on our way home ! I live in New Mexico and this was my first time in Hawaii ! I couldn’t be more happy ! Captain No-No is a yes yes n KaNa, Can not wait to see you!!! lol 👌👌ask for these 2 by name !!! Saludes from NM!

5.00This was an exceptional excursion! The boat was fast, comfortable, well-equipped and perfect for discovering the Na Pali coast. CJ and Mason were skilled, experienced and full of information and “fun facts.” We saw both bottlenose and spinner dolphins, a turtle, and a humpback whale. It could not have been a better trip.

5.00My two daughters and I did the afternoon Na Pali Coast Super Raft Adventure w/ Snorkeling with Cj & Max on 11/14/25. It was one of the most amazing adventures I have ever had, with spectacular views the entire time and many historical tales and stories of the island. It was a breathtaking experience! Cj & Max added to this most memorable experience with their energetic, yet laid back, welcoming and engaging personalities. Not to mention the awesome tunes Cj played with a variety of genres and hits that never get old. I couldn't be happier they were the ones to take us out. We were only on Kauai for two days, but, from this tour, I feel like I got a good taste of the island's vibes and the natural wonders it offers. We saw 70+ miles of coastline, endless breathtaking views of the Na Pali mountains/cliffs, areas of Hawaiian cultural significance, the sacred valley (the Valley of Kings), various filming locations (for Jurassic Park; Chief of War; Six Days, Seven Nights; Pirates of the Caribbean, King Kong, Skull Island, and Mary J. Blige's music video to name a few), ventured into caves and under waterfalls, snorkeled (after cautious decision since it was the off-season & so glad we did), and even spotted a lone black Spanish goat braving the cliffside. If you have limited time on the island, this would be your best option to experience the heart of the island. Admission was totally work it! Mahalo, Cj & Max!! -Ashley, Luray & Reese

5.00This was such a fun excursion. The staff Nono and Cannon were great. Friendly and played great music. We got to see the entire coast, a whale, dolphins, and even swam with turtles! I saw other boats out there getting demolished by the waves but we were fine on this boat

5.00We had so much fun on Captain J’s. The crew was great and super friendly. The entire ride was a ton of fun and the weather was perfect so we were able to go into the caves and had a chance to see the NāPali Coast really well! The staff was also super informative about the area. We would definitely recommend this tour!

5.00Matt and Andrew were amazing guides! Super knowledgeable about the history of Kauai! They both made the experience so amazing! The smaller boat and smaller size group made the trip more personal and we got to see so much! Snorkeling at the end was the icing on the cake! If you want a fun high adventure trip choose Captain J's. It was worth every penny to get to see the island the way we did!!
