5.00We did the two day tour. Day 1 was just the Alcatraz boat trip which you could book anywhere. Day 2 was with Dylan Bis tours and was about 6 hours on a bus with multiple stops. Alacatraz was great. Lots of reviews available elsewhere. Bus tour was top quality. Our driver was very knowledgeable- except he thinks the First World War started in 1915 - that’s when the US joined - for everyone else the war started in 1914! Anyhoo… stops at Golden Gate / Muir Woods and Sausalito for lunch. Muir Woods were a highlight - the Red Woods are astonishing. Overall, very good if a little expensive.
