  Sunflower was able to communicate her charm through Zoom. She was very organized and had prepared us before the class with all the ingredients. Sunflower was able to walk a party of 6 on how to make the most authentic delicious steam buns. She will ask you about dietary restrictions and cater the menu to your preference. Great experience over all

• The feeling of being in Beijing while standing in my own kitchen

  It has been a fantastic experience to cook with Sunflower. She had sent the ingredient list the a few days before with some comments about substitution for in the case I wouldn't have found all the ingredients I needed for the three meals we prepared. She took the time to explain every step and yet didn't waisted time. While cooking she also shared some cultural information, put some Chinese music in the background, it was like standing next to her in her kitchen. I was delighted to have at once the explanation, the view as well as the smells and tastes. That night, we had a guest who really enjoyed tasting the authentic taste of Chinese cuisine. He said "it's really tasty and those are numbers I had never tasted before" referring to the Chinese menus in Europe where you often order by number and you get dishes that have been adapted to European tasting buds. When you cook with Sunflower you can expect great dishes, even if those are simple ones, with authentic taste and cooking with her is spending a good moment far from home without living your own kitchen. I recommand strongly and I will definitely book more classes. See you next time Sunflowyer.

  We had an absolutely amazing cooking class with Sunflower. It was both fun and very informative. We learned how to make authentic dumplings, Kung Pao chicken, and bok choy with mushrooms. We felt like we were in her home in Beijing cooking with her. She did a really great job teaching us the history of the dishes and about their significance within Chinese culture. We highly recommend taking this class if you want to learn authentic Chinese cooking.

  Thank you Sunflower for teaching us how to make beautiful traditional pork dumplings. The perfect Chinese New Year activity! It was so much fun for not only my husband and I but also the kids! The dumplings were delicious and we loved your secret dipping sauce. I can’t wait to try and do them again, especially the pan fried version with the dough lace! I’ll be back again to learn one of your other dishes!
