  Perfect day at the pyramids , camel ride, inside the pyramids and pur guide Abdul was the best he did not just show us the pyramids he also told us about the history about them and gave us tips and helped for the rest of our trip in egypt.

  This tour was an amazing time! Our tour guide Abdul was not only knowledgeable and good at sharing the facts with us, but also took care of us is funny, nice and easy to understand. The pyramid tour of the camel dry ride was spectacular. But the day didn’t end there the lunch and stops along the way home put this tour over the top definitely do it!   We had an awesome time visiting the Pyramids and the Sphinx, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Abdullah. He was super knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely interesting. You could tell he really loves what he does. He showed us the best spots for photos, kept the tour relaxed and enjoyable, and answered all our questions without rushing us. It felt like exploring with a friend who happens to be an expert in Egyptian history. Would 100% recommend booking with Abdullah — he truly made the experience unforgettable.

  We were collected from our hotel in a clean, comfortable car driven by Andrew, given bottles of water, and taken past the new GEM to the main entrance plaza. After a quick stop to get tickets, we entered the Giza Plateau and were shuttled between the key sights on the small buses. Our guide Shreen was really helpful in navigating these, as we’d have struggled to work out that this service was available & how to use it on our own. We visited the panoramic viewpoint first and took some great photos before heading to the area where the camel rides depart. After a very short wait which gave us chance to take some fabulous photos from the top of the bank opposite, we had a ten-minute camel ride—slightly nerve-wracking when getting on and off, but otherwise good fun & a one off experience for us. Next was Menkaure’s pyramid, where we descended into the small, steep passageway. It’s hot, humid and narrow, so passing people can be tricky, but it was still an enjoyable little adventure & well worth doing so you appreciate what those working in them would have had to contend with. There are a few information boards around the area, but they don’t tell you much so going with a guide was invaluable as it meant we had a better understanding of some of the things we were seeing. We then stopped near Khafre’s pyramid before heading to the Great Pyramid—staggeringly huge and impressive, and Shreen took some fabulous photos of us with the pyramid in the background. If you’re given free time here to see the boat pits, just be cautious: once we were on our own we were swarmed by people (adults & children) offering to take photos, trying to steer us towards “good views,” or placing items on us as “gifts” and then asking for money. Not the most pleasant part of the day & I’d advise staying with your guide if you can, because some people really didn’t want to take no for an answer. Shreen was also a great sounding board when we were deciding whether to pay extra to enter the Great Pyramid, and she even helped us with a bit of bartering at one of the toilet stops! Our stop at the Sphinx was quite quick, as it was very crowded and you can’t get especially close. We took photos from the entrance to the platform, not realising the viewpoint continued further up and around. As a result, we moved on fairly quickly, and the experience felt quite different from the more spacious pyramid areas where you can take your time & marvel at the sheer scale of it. Afterwards, we visited a trinket shop, an essence shop, and a papyrus shop—each giving a short demonstration and an opportunity to buy—before heading to a local buffet set up to cater to tours. Drinks are extra, but the tasty local cuisine main course & desserts are included & the staff were very pleasant. While this tour wasn’t as in-depth as others we’ve done, it was still very enjoyable, with some absolutely stunning scenery along the way. Our guide, Shreen, was very helpful throughout, and kindly arranged an airport transfer with a fantastic female driver, Mervat, through her company.   The experience was beyond amazing. Gamal is very knowledgeable about the history of Egypt and he is very attentive. Gamal answered every question we had and even encouraged more questions. Gamal even warned us prior to about the do's and don'ts when dealing with hecklers.. I highly recommend booking a tour with Gamal. This is literally a guaranteed great experience.. I myself search for reviews before booking anything, and believe me when I tell you, this is more than worth it.

  We had an amazing Pyramids Tour with Abdul! He was incredibly patient and made the whole experience a lot of fun. Abdul was really cool, explained everything clearly, and showed us all around the Pyramids and the Sphinx. He took great care of us, helped with photos, and never rushed us. One of the best guides we’ve had highly recommended!!!
