Do not order tickets from Viator! You sold me tickets for a time that there were no tours. We had driven an hour with 2 grandchildren to go on the boat tour and there was no tour for the time they sold us tickets for.

Wonderful cruise down the Mississippi River to the Chalmette Battlefield (Battle of New Orleans 1815, War of 1812), on the Creole Queen. Charles was our guide and he did a fantastic job with the history and the info about the area. Awesome cruise and they even had free ice water!!

The historian had great information. The food for the lunch was just OK but it was delicious. I have never been on a paddle boat so that was really cool.

This tour was very informative and fun. We learned all about the early history of the area including which countries occupied and claimed the area leading up to the Louisiana purchase. We learned about the actual terrain of the area at the time as opposed to the way it looks now. There was also a very in depth story about the way things really were handled during hurricane Katrina. The meal was good as well.
