Full day spent in the Sintra mountains, surrounded by stories, dreamy palaces and exotic gardens and in the afternoon wonderful cliffs, viewpoints and beaches on the Atlantic coast, and the westernmost part of Europe.

This fantastic day begins with pickup at your hotel! Pass through the picturesque village of Sintra, enjoying the Sintra National Palace and regional commerce, heading to Pena Palace. Visit the westernmost point of Europe, Cabo da Roca, where you will find excellent landscapes and natural cliffs, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. Free time for lunch (not included in the price). Visit the famous "Boca do Inferno" viewpoint to observe the fury of the waves on the rocky cliffs. Visit the charming village of Cascais for a stroll around the bay or traditional village full of shops, restaurants and flowers in the streets.

Return to your hotel along the beautiful coastal road, next to the sea and wonderful beaches. Private tour, just for your group, with private driver

In spite of the rainy weather we had a fabulous day. Rui shared so much information on the history of Peña Palace, the Sintra community, and city of Caiscais. Best part vas visiting the westernmost point of Europe. Comfortable transportation an d he was very considerate of our physical limitations due to bad knees and foot.

Day trip in a rainy day, however Rui turn that day in one of memorable day we spend in Lisboa. Very well organize, we learn só Much about Portugal história. Will do ir again . Thanks for all .

The only way to see Sintra and the surrounding area! We spent a lovely day with Rui. His knowledge of the palace enhanced our experience so much! And it was so nice not to worry about transportation logistics or parking or tickets. It made the day much more relaxing and enjoyable than it otherwise would have been. Just book the tour and say hello to Rui for us!

Honestly, a private tour is the only way to experience Sintra and the surrounding area! No train, bus, parking logistics or tickets to figure out and navigate and no time wasted! We had such a lovely day with Rui, first experiencing Pena Palace before the crowds. His knowledge of the palace and its history enhanced our visit. We enjoyed free time in Sintra and Cascais as well as a beautiful drive through the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais Cabo da Roca and Praia do Guincho were great stops as well, even on an overcast day. You will not be disappointed. Just book the tour and say Hello to Rui for us!

Great day we have on Sintra and Pena Palace with Rui. Day was perfect sunny and the landscape is amazing. We love Cascais also We can ask for more. Realy 5 star. Thank you so much Rui. Best

The Pena Palace is breathtaking. Cabo da Roca and Cascais were beautiful coastal stops. Done it was a Saturday, everything was very crowded. We enjoyed having time in Cascais to wander and pick a restaurant for lunch. Rui is a great guide!

Rui was charming in his overall ability to provide a personal tour through historical sights and adventures in Sintra village and Castle and Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Rocha and Cascais beach community, along the Portugal Riviera. We were able to absorb our tour without the typical large crowd and ask him questions from his perspective as a Portuguese national citizen. Amazing!

Based upon a very strong recommendation, we booked our tour to Sintra and Cascais with Rui. He was a great communicator and picked us up at our hotel right on time. From the moment we got in his car, we felt he was knowledgeable, personable and helpful. We learned so much from him about all the places we visited and about Portugal overall. He took us to a delicious coffee shop in Sintra as well as Cabo da Roca, which we loved. I can’t wait to refer Rui to our friends and family!
