  Experience highly recommended. Three pleasant hours of guided tour of Pompeii with the Villa dei Misteri included. The archaeological guide Giulia was very competent, engaging and nice! Good organization.

  Perfect, the guide was very interesting, whether about the history of Pompei or about the excavations at the moment. They are very easy to reach and after the tour leaves us in the ruins so we can continue our experience. 3h is the best time to learn a lot without getting too tired at the end!

  Be prepared to walk and wear comfortable shoes and layer your clothing. Having an archaeologist walk and talk you through Pompeii helped to understand life in the city in 79AD and to better appreciate the art, architecture and deeper history of the city. You then have more time to wander freely and better investigate the city with more knowledge.

  We had a wonderful time with Teresa. She is very knowledgeable and passionate. The Villa of Mysteries add on is well worth it and completes the day nicely. We'd love to come back and do another tour with her.

  Fully recommended to do the guided tour with archaeologist, in our case it was Ana and the experience was wonderful. Pompeii is amazing and immense, when you take the guided tour you understand many more things, told us many interesting facts and explained curiosities of how it was lived at the time. I would repeat the visit.
