Experience Japan like a local, far from the crowded and usually frequented places. Focus on relaxation and well-being without neglecting scenery and culture. We will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Hakone, one of Japan's most beautiful hot-spring towns. From there we will take scenic roads only, bringing you to magnificent panoramas of Mt Fuji, Hakone, the Sea of Japan, lakes, and temples.

Once the hunger settles in, we will reach a special place where you will be able to experience delicious authentic Japanese cuisine (no bento box on a plastic table, except if you want to, of course) and indulge in some of the region's best onsen.

After this relaxing time, we will once again take the road and finish our day at an incredible nearby museum, open air with a beautiful garden if the weather permits, or mesmerizing architecture if it rains.

As this is a private tour (with a private guide), you can tailor every step and detail to your preferences, or leave it up to us.

Elie was a phenomenal guide! He was very knowledgeable about Tokyo, Hakone, Japanese culture, and also just generally a joy to be around. He proactively contacted me the day before the tour to let me know that due to weather, we’d be unlikely to see Mt Fuji, and offered alternative activities or to cancel. Having previously read all of the positive reviews, I decided to go ahead with the tour and am glad I did! We had a great day visiting the Hakone Open Air museum and a local onsen. Elie provided many tips about traveling in Japan and was able to answer my questions about the history of the country, its people and religion. I highly recommend any experience with Elie in Japan!

This was an amazing experience! Elie is so professional and knowledgeable. Very engaging! The onsen is definitely and immersive experience that will take you out of your comfort zone and in to a world of relaxation. I highly recommend this tour with Elie. We had an absolutely fantastic time on our tour to Mt. Fuji, Hakone, and the onsen – it was exactly what we were hoping for, and honestly, even better than we imagined! Traveling outside of Tokyo to see the majestic Mt. Fuji was incredible, and we were treated to some truly breathtaking landscapes along the way. The sights were stunning, and the experience was everything we hoped for and more. Our guide, Lenny, was amazing and went above and beyond in making this day unforgettable. He was the perfect guide for this tour – not only knowledgeable, but also fun and easy to talk to. We really enjoyed the great conversations and the tips and suggestions he shared with us. It was clear that he genuinely cared about giving us the best experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The van was super comfortable, which made the long drives even more enjoyable, and the whole day was just perfectly planned. We were able to relax, take in the scenery, and have a lot of fun along the way. We are so grateful for this experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Mt. Fuji and the surrounding areas. Thank you again to Lenny for making this such a memorable and special day!

This tour is a must! Our day started with Lenny picking us up and he is once of the friendliest and most knowledgeable guides. This true gem of a tour took us to Mt Fuji via a private road to experience the beautiful with the locals. Then off to Hakone to explore and see the beautiful of the sea as well as the temple. We visited a traditional tea house and wrapped up the day at a beautiful Onsen. Lenny provided an amazing experience for our family. Highly recommend! 10/10!!
