Private 1 Day Tour to Mt Fuji and Hakone: Onsen, Arts and Nature

Experience Japan like a local, far from the crowded and usually frequented places. Focus on relaxation and well-being without neglecting scenery and culture. We will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Hakone, one of Japan's most beautiful hot-spring towns. From there we will take scenic roads only, bringing you to magnificent panoramas of Mt Fuji, Hakone, the Sea of Japan, lakes, and temples.
Once the hunger settles in, we will reach a special place where you will be able to experience delicious authentic Japanese cuisine (no bento box on a plastic table, except if you want to, of course) and indulge in some of the region's best onsen.
After this relaxing time, we will once again take the road and finish our day at an incredible nearby museum, open air with a beautiful garden if the weather permits, or mesmerizing architecture if it rains.
As this is a private tour (with a private guide), you can tailor every step and detail to your preferences, or leave it up to us.

5.0Ellie was wonderful! He shared all of his cultural and historical knowledge with us as we drove around Hakone. There were plenty of stops to keep our ten year old entertained. Hakone shrine was beautiful and we especially enjoyed the onsen. No one minded at all that our child participated. The food at the onsen restaurant was excellent. Thank you, Ellie!

5.0We had a great time with Elie. We got great weather, the views were spectacular of Mt Fuji. Elie made the trip seamless. His car is very comfortable for a family of 5. He talked us through the itinerary and was very friendly and helpful. The onsen we visited was great also, we enjoyed the experience! Highly recommend.
A hike on the Hakone Highway and a thaw at an onsen

5.0Engaging conversation with interesting insight on local language, customs, and culture. He customized the trip to our needs which allowed us to hike part of the Hakone Highway and spend time warming up at an incredible, off the beaten path, onsen. Despite the weather blocking the view of Fuji, Elie made the day memorable and he will be a great point of contact for future trips to Japan.

5.0Ellie is a wonderful guide and made the day so enjoyable! Since he owns this company he is not just a tour operator but totally invested in the day being perfect. He picked us up in a luxurious car where the seats fully reclined and we napped on the way home after a full day of exploring. He took us to places that were not touristy and were more natural. You can’t go wrong if you book a tour with Ellie! Highly recommend!
