Your guide will explain fully the history of all the area including the other pyramids, of Chephren and Mycerinus, answer all your questions and you will have the chance to take pictures of the whole area. You will spend more than two hours in the area so that you can enter one of the pyramid's chambers or visit the Sun boat museum. You may like to have a camel ride around the area. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. Your Egypt tours will take you on a 4 hours tour to explore the treasures of the museum (opened in 1901). Look at the amazing monuments and artifacts in its different halls in a guided tour. Although the museum has tens of thousands of artifacts in this short tour, your Egyptologist guide will focus on the highlights and masterpieces of the museum Visit the Tut Ankh Amun Wing on the first floor and see his wonderful collection of historically important artwork. The treasures are mainly golden and they cover a quite large section of the museum. This area of the museum includes significant statues, furniture, and gold sculptures. After enjoying the guided part of the tour, take some free time to browse the museum with the option of visiting the royal mummy room.
Temple of Philae
The magnificent Temple was dedicated to the Cult of the Goddess Isis, but it became submerged after the first Aswan dam was built in 1902, and it was not until the sixties that many countries attempted to save the Temple. All these countries, together with UNESCO moved the temple to the Agilika Island. The Egyptians built the temple during the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine eras; every ruler was keen on adding and expanding the temple to show his reverence to the Egyptian deities. Your Egyptologist guide will explain all the different reliefs, courts, and pylons of the temple.
Aswan High Dam
The High Dam of Aswan is one of the most important and great achievements of Egypt during the 20thCentuy. For many years, the dam represented the period of modernism in the country. It provided Egypt with Hydroelectric power and safeguarded the country from the dangers of the flood. Your guide will accompany you to explain the history of the Dam, its advantages and disadvantages.
Temple of Kom Ombo
you will be escorted by your Egyptologist guide to visit Kom Ombo temple, the crocodile-headed God of fertility and creator of the world. After this, you will have lunch aboard your cruise with leisure time. w
Temple of Horus
The temple was dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed. The temple of Edfu is the most well-preserved among ancient temples. Your private guide will give you a detailed history of the temple and its reliefs,
Valley of the Kings
At the beginning of your tour, you will cross the Nile to the West bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings. The Pharaohs were hiding their mummies and treasures in this barren desert area. Many of these treasures were found in these beautiful colored tombs. You can visit three tombs to enjoy the colors and murals on the walls. The tombs were carved deep in the mountain rock; you have the option to visit other royal tombs such as Tut Ankh Amun
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
Then continue your tour on the west bank and drive to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She is the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt who ruled the kingdom for 20 prosperous years. This temple is called El Deir el Bahari as the early Christians used the Northern monastery, as it was a Coptic monastery. Unlike the other temples, this one was built of limestone and partly hewn in the mother bedrock. It has three terraces and its focal point is to tell the story of the Divine birth of the Queen.
Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon are two monumental statues representing king Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt. They are located west of the modern city of Luxor and face east looking toward the Nile River. The statues depict the seated king on a throne with some other carvings of his mother, his wife, the god Hapi, the Nile god, and other symbolic engravings. Both are carved from single blocks of sandstone and the name refers to the Greek hero Memnon who fell in the Trojan War
Temple of Karnak
Karnak temple is a complex of temples. The temple is dedicated to Amun Ra, the chief god in Egyptian mythology. Enjoy the Great Hypostyle court and the reliefs and murals that were added through the generations. Feel astonished at the tall obelisks 70 feet high and cut from a single piece of granite. Look at the statues of the different pharaohs who want to show their loyalty to RA. Keep an eye on the magnificent tall columns and their papyrus and Lotus capitals while their shafts are loaded with hieroglyphics.
Luxor Temple
Originally Luxor temple and Karnak were connected with the Ram-Headed Sphinxes Avenue. The connection was to celebrate the annual visit of Ra from Karnak to his wife Mut in Luxor. The temple of Luxor witnessed many historical eras and has its extensions and additions along the ages. Different structures and murals show the Greek, Roman, Islamic, and Coptic influences. Stare at the statues and obelisks of Ramses II. There should be two obelisks at the entrance of the temple but one of them was sent to Paris
Mosque of Muhammad Ali
Visit the Citadel of Saladin, a 12th-century fortress. Inside the citadel; you will go into the Alabaster mosque. Built-in 1830, the mosque was designed by a Turkish architect, who followed the same style as the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmed in Istanbul. Your guide will explain the main elements of the mosque and basic Islamic principles. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the top.
Coptic Cairo
Visit the Hanging church, one of the most beautiful churches that were built in the 5th century. Consecrated to Virgin Mary, The church was built above one of the towers of the fort of Babylon. It has 110 beautiful icons and once was the seat of the Patriarch. Your guide will explain to you all about the church before moving to the Cavern church or the church of St Sergius and Bacchus. Thousands of visitors come annually to this church to visit the cave where Jesus the baby and the Virgin Mary were hiding for 3 months during the journey of escape in Egypt. The religious tolerance in Egypt is embodied by your visit to the oldest Jewish temple in Cairo. This temple is one among the other 11 synagogues in Egypt and is named after a merchant from Jerusalem called Ben Ezra. You will be given the full history of the synagogue and the position of the Jewish community in Egypt.

We booked a private tour (just us as a couple) with Your Egypt Tours and could not have had a better time! The communication is so easy, even before we booked, Mona exchanged multiple emails with us so that we could customise our tour and timings perfectly (we were attending a wedding at the end of the trip so we needed everything to line up). Fast forward to the trip, from the moment we got off our flight, we were met by Ahmed who guided us through customs and the visa purchase. We landed at 1am so having someone take us directly to our private car was great. The 5 star hotel we had (Kempinski) was right on the Nile and had the best staff along with a beautiful rooftop bar (amazing view). It was the perfect place to rest during our busy days in Cairo. For Cairo/Giza, they were able to accommodate a last minute day of touring as we wanted to see more sights. Our tour guide Eman was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, a true Egyptologist whose passion made us even more excited to see everything. We had at least five locals tell us she was the best guide in Cairo and we felt spoiled. She took us to the best sites, at the perfect times and our driver Raffat was safe, prompt and had a great sense of humor! Thank you Eman for a great start to our trip! From Cairo, we flew to Luxor (once again, door to door service) and started our cruise journey there. Our guide for the remainder of the trip was Ashraf (also goes by Ash) another extremely knowledgeable Egyptologist who had an answer for everything and our driver was the friendly, Osama. The cruise was extremely comfortable, had impeccable service and Ashraf made sure all of our timing worked out with detailed briefings of what to expect for each day. This allowed us to relax and take in the sights. Ashraf also let us move at our own pace and see additional things like the night market, truly a custom private tour! We really can’t recommend Your Egypt Tours more. They know what they are doing, and they are charging less than what some bigger companies offer which often times aren’t even private tours. Both of our guides were extremely knowledgable, spoke perfect English, friendly and energetic. They also gave us honest insider tips (such as which optional activities to do/skip, where to get authentic souvenirs, and local food recommendations). They are on top of everything, so all you have to do is show up excited to learn and relax. Lastly, we went during the summer so it was over 110 degrees in the south. If we didn’t have wonderful guides describing the must-know facts, we easily would’ve rushed through and missed out because of the heat. And having a private air conditioned van to return to was a pleasure (with water and snacks!) Don’t think twice about booking with Your Egypt Tours, and make sure you tip both the drivers and your guide well! We hope to visit again soon.

I cannot say enough nice things about this tour. Everything was perfect - our guides were always on time or early, and the cruise and tours they took us on were amazing. I booked directly with Your Egypt Tours, not through a booking site, but the process was very easy. They were responsive to all emails, and kept us informed throughout the planning and booking process. I went with my sister on this trip, and at no time did we ever feel unsafe. Everyone I met seemed genuinely happy to see tourists returning to Egypt. Although there is a strong police presence in the tourist areas, at no time did I see them doing more than observing. The sites in Egypt are incredible to visit in person - pictures really do not do them justice! I would encourage anyone thinking of a trip to Egypt to book with Your Egypt Tours.

My wife and I had a fantastic time on our honeymoon in Egypt with the entire Your Egypt Tours team. They were extremely responsive and helpful from the initial email inquiry, as they clearly detailed the itinerary in advance and answered all of our questions along the way. Our time in all cities was well coordinated prior to our arrival, and we were in the safe hands of their airport travel team from the entry to Egypt until our departure. During the tour itself we learned so much from our friendly and knowledgable tour guides who ensured we found the tastiest food in each city. We would absolutely recommend this tour team for any first time or returning visitors to Egypt.

I recently traveled to Egypt with a couple friends, and the three of us were extremely pleased with the experience provided by Your Egypt Tours. We were fortunate to spend nine days visiting temples, artifacts, and tombs with our guide, Mamdouh in Cairo and Ash in Aswan and Luxor. Both individuals were incredibly knowledgeable and personable, so we also enjoyed their company throughout the trip. Despite having a schedule, we appreciated their flexibility in accommodating our requests to visit other sites/shops or have time to rest. The transport vans were also private, roomy, and comfortable. I’ve already recommended Your Egypt Tours to my parents and colleagues, and I will continue recommending them to anyone considering traveling to Egypt!

The whole trip has been amazing but the highlights for me were the visit to Tutankhamen’s tomb along with Nefertari’s tomb which were so vibrant with colour and detail! The temple of Karnak is a must. Our guide Ash from Luxor to Aswan was extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring! We enjoyed our time with him. Thank you to Your Egypt Tours , staff and Ash. We still have Abl Simbel to visit tomorrow but so far my expectations have been exceeded and I had them set high! Thank you again to everyone who has made my dreams come true.

We enjoyed our time in Egypt! Your EGYPT Tours provided us with amazing tour guides, drivers, and airport reps. Our tour guides (Mandouah and Ashwaf) were both so knowledgeable. They were accommodating and always wanted to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Our kids loved them! Our favorite sites were the pyramids at Giza, the Nile Cruise, and Valley of the Kings!

We did this cruise with a group of 4 in combination with a 5 day tour of Cairo and Alexandria which I have reviewed here separately. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and knowledge base of our guide, Ash, and the coordination of the entire company from the booking process to the travel and flight arrangements. This trip included 3 internal flights and 3 airports each with its own security procedures. We were personally guided through the entire process and immediately whisked away in our private van before anyone else had left the airport. Ash was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through the history and meaning of each site we saw. We navigated around the cruise boat crowds and had most of the sites virtually to ourselves! Way beyond expectations!

We booked the trip in 2019 for 2020. Being as how the whole world shut down that year, we pushed it to 2021. Your Egypt Tours handled all changes and curveballs great! The tour was what was listed on the package, if you want to know about what we did just read the listing. It was all that and more. Everything was great. I am going to talk about Your Egypt Tours as opposed to how great the pyramids are (which they are!) From getting picked up at the airport (with help getting the Visa and through customs) by Ahmed to getting situated at the hotel, I knew that we were in good hands immediately. Cairo is chaotic. It is easy to get overwhelmed with the traffic, people, and barely-ordered chaos. Your Egypt Tours provided a seamless and smooth trip in every way. Normally, I book everything myself and hire guides on the spot. I am glad that I didn't do that this time. Your Egypt Tours set our itinerary perfectly and provided the best Egyptologists that we could have asked for. Mamdouh in Cairo and Ashraf in Luxor/Aswan were FANTASTIC. Allow me to repeat that because saying it once isn't enough. Mamdouh and Ashraf are ABSOLUTELY GREAT. Rolling the dice on finding a good guide isn't a good idea -- these guys are experts. Let Your Egypt Tours handle that. They were top notch in every category. Punctuality, knowledge, personality, I can go on but they get A+ in the entire report. (Oh, ever have a guide that you can barely understand? Not here! They are absolutely fluent and understandable.) Egypt has a ton to offer. I am so glad that we chose Your Egypt Tours to take care of us, the details, and provide an amazing trip.

Had an unbelievable time with both the Egyptologist and driver. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helped us see the sights while giving us an in depth view of the amazing history. Everything was taken care of for us and it made for a seamless couple days with pickup/dropoff at the hotel.
