Before we go into DMZ area and do ID Check, will look through 3 stops - Brdige of freedom, Mangbaedan Altar, Steam locomotive destroyed during Korean war in Imjingak Park. Imjingak was built in 1972 for the benefit of displaced North Koreans. It is at the end of National Road No. 1, which civilians can access.
Mangbaedan
Mangbaedan is an altar where North Korean refugees in the South hold ancestral rites on the two biggest national holidays to their parents and grandparents left behind in the North.

5.00The DMZ tour was one of the most interesting tours we did in Korea all thanks to Mr Tiger. We learned about Korea and its history in so much detail and saw sights we could never have seen brought to life with his storytelling. His experience as an Army officer posted in that area and specialising in the tour enhanced our experience. Tiger was meticulous in his planning, storytelling with slides/maps and even had binoculars to see the sites across the border. We were picked up on time in a clean private car and was customized even while joining the tour bus for entering the DMZ. All in all a day well spent learning about the conflict and how it affected people across the borders. Thank you Tiger & PLK.

5.00My tour guide really knew the ropes and very experience/knowledgeable. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tunnel and bridge were my highlights, and of course being able to look across to North Korea. Our tour guide knew where to eat an inexpensive but delicious lunch too,

5.00We have nothing but the best words for our tour to the DMZ with Eddie! Everything from the very beginning to the very end was so well organized, we had so much fun with Eddie and so valuable exchanges about the history, the living and everything around that. Eddie was excellent and his knowledge about the DMZ and the history was tremendous. He’s a tour guide everyone needs to have! I recommend 100%. It was a very special day - everything was a 10/10.
Ask for Eddie to really understand the DMZ!

5.00We had a wonderful time with our guide Eddie at the DMZ! I cannot recommend Eddie enough! He helped us understand the history of Korea and was even stationed at the DMZ when he was in the army. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had an amazing day! Thanks Eddie!
