The Kelpies & The Helix
The Kelpies are 100ft tall horse-head sculptures. Built 2013 between Falkirk and Grangemouth. The origins of the kelpie are believed to be rooted in human sacrifices to the water gods however this concept eventually died out and the story of the kelpie was then used to keep children from playing too near the lochs and dangerous rivers

5.00Wow- what an experience! Ross was so knowledgeable, an extremely safe driver, and one of the best guides we have ever had. Our group of 6 had such a memorable day! This trip was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00Not an in depth Scottish Highlands tour, which would require a few days, but a very good one for a day trip. Our guide, Ross, was very pleasant and lively, and that made the experience extra fun.

5.00Went on a tour to the Highlands, myself and my family had a great time. There were 5 of us. There was plenty of space in the van, the guide gave us drinks and some Scottish snack(great added bonus). The guide was knowledgeable and friendly would highly recommend

5.00As a solo traveler, I needed and wanted a guide to take care of me - in every way. Nimble. Courteous. Expert-knowledge. Fun. Informative. Friendly. Easy conversation. I experienced that in spades. I cannot give enough accolades to Ross and his team. This trip was fantastic and 100% of the reason was the experience I had with Ross and team.

5.00Had an unforgettable day with Ross, travelling up into the highlands via castles, whiskey and chocolate tastings, off the beaten track side visits, waterfalls and nature walks. Every part of it was easy, from the booking process to communication before the tour and the tour itself. Ross is a such an expert guide (ask him anything; I bet he has the answer!) and above all a super easy guy to get along with. While the highland landscapes spoke for themselves, for me Ross's wonderful company made this tour, and I couldn't give it any less than five stars. The perfect introductory tour for a first visit to Edinburgh. I'd recommend Ross without reservation!

5.00Our family took a private tour to the Highlands with Ross, and throughly enjoyed every minute. Ross was able to customize the tour to fit our family- he has great “off the beaten path” places to see, and knows the hidden shops where you can stop and taste award winning chocolates or buy the most incredible pie! The scenery is spectacular and Ross is extremely knowledgeable as well as energetic to keep up with our competitive family! We can’t recommend him enough.
