Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
The Great Pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the largest and most impressive of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau. Standing at 146.6 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Built as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khufu, it is a testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and precision. The pyramid originally featured a smooth limestone casing, reflecting sunlight and giving it a brilliant appearance. Inside, it houses the King’s Chamber, containing a sarcophagus, and an intricate network of passages and chambers. 5.00Unforgettable Giza/ Pyramid and Sphinx Experience with Ahmed! Our tour with Ahmed in Giza was hands down the highlight of our entire holiday. From the moment we met him, he was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and so friendly. He spoke excellent English, making everything easy to follow and understand. What really set Ahmed apart was his eye for photography — he knew exactly where to stand for the best shots, and helped us capture some truly amazing memories. It was like having a personal photographer along with a top-tier guide! He also took us to a fantastic local restaurant to try authentic Egyptian food — we had the Koshari, and it was easily one of the best meals of our trip. No tourist traps, no pressure to buy anything — just a genuinely well-curated, authentic experience. His driver was also excellent — smooth, safe, and punctual. We felt completely looked after from start to finish. If you're looking for a guide in Giza who is experienced, personable, and passionate about their job, look no further.

5.00We did the Private Guided Tour to the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx on our very first day, and it was such a cool and memorable experience. Everything was smooth from the start. We were picked up right from our hotel and dropped off after, which made things super easy. The tour was completely private and personal, which we loved. Our guide, Hend, was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, and we learned so much from her about the history and significance of the pyramids and the Sphinx. Our driver, Amr, was also fantastic and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. After the main sites, we visited a few local shops — there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, just a chance to see some local crafts and learn more about Egyptian culture. We took tons of amazing photos and felt like we really got a great introduction to the country. Highly recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time in Egypt!
