Riding the camels on the Western Desert plateau overlooking the Great pyramids of Egypt was profoundly moving. The stirring of civilizations' beginning hung in the air. Here we humbly walked in the shadow of Pharoahs, Queens, and servants, the place of the Great Pyramids, where Kings and Dynasties rose and fell. I waited 60 years to tread this path and touch the ancient stones. It is awe inspiring. Our tour guide was exceptional. Her ability to keep us informed of customs, rules, regulations, and to provide context and knowledge to the artifacts and historical sites made for a wonderful experience. To add, our guide was flexible to our needs and desires which we appreciated very much. Not once did we feel pressure to make a purchase or rushed to complete a transaction or finish a meal. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience really well paced. No pressure throughout the day, driven to each site with great advice and information about everything we saw. My mum and I were the only 2 on the tour so felt very exclusive and vip, we went to each site at our own pace sometimes quickly sometimes slowly but our guide waited with patience each time! Well worth it!

This tour is worth every penny! Rania, our tour guide, and Mahmoud, our driver, were both wonderful. Rania was able to provide so much detailed explanation for everything we saw, it made it so much more meaningful. She answered any question we had. She is very thoughtful, and goes at your pace for the tour. She also helped us buy quality souvenirs. Lunch was also delicious with a beautiful view. Mahmoud is a talented driver- we felt very safe with him. I would definitely go on this tour again. Ask for them by name! She also said she does tours in other cities in Egypt. When I come back to Egypt I am calling her! So sweet, you will have a wonderful day.

We had a fantastic experience. Michael, our guide for the day, made contact with us via WhatsApp the night before and to confirm the start time. He suggested that we start the tour half-an-hour earlier to avoid the traffic/crowds and we agreed. We stated that we didn't really want the camel ride, but would like to go inside the Great Pyramid instead (acknowledging that we would incur an additional entrance fee). He said he was happy to oblige and tailor the tour to our needs. Michael and the driver turned up promptly at our hotel the following morning and took us to the Giza Plateau. It was obvious that Michael knew his Egyptian history and we enjoyed his running commentary throughout the tour. He suggested that we might want to visit some perfume, carpet and papyrus shops, but we declined. That wasn't a problem. Next we went to downtown Cairo and a short visit to the Khan el Khalili bazaar (good for it's architecture and if want to purchase some tourist trinkets). We had lunch on the go (excellent shawarma) before a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Once again Michael imparted his detailed knowledge and showed us around all of the highlights. He left us to look around the rest on our own for an hour, which we appreciated. We were finally dropped back at the hotel. We would thoroughly recommend this tour and don't be afraid to make it clear up front just what it is that would like to do, or not, as the case may be.

We had the best experience in Egypt with Fatma being our tour guide. She was on time, knowledgeable, energetic, respectful, and a great person to talk too! She tailored the tour to our interests as it was just me and my partner. I highly recommend taking this tour and having Fatma as your guide! Her tour was the highlight of our trip.
