On this private Cairo day tour several activities are involved and different periods of ancient history of Egypt are covered as you will visit the pyramids of Giza, namely Great Pyramid of Cheops (khufu), Chephren (Khafre) and Mycerinus (Menkaure), they represent 3 generations dating back to the 4th Dynasty (about 2500 B.C. You will ride a camel for 30 minutes in the Sahara desert around the pyramids as well as the Great Sphinx considered as guardian of the Giza plateau, you will have lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the pyramids. you will have lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the pyramids. Then you will proceed to the Egyptian museum of antiquities in Tahrir square with its treasures that represent ancient Egyptian art along its history from little household tools to massive stone statues , the oriental bazaar of Khan el Khalili, oldest market in Egypt and the whole Middle East, where you will live the experience of bargaining.

Only spent an hour at the pyramid complex, not much history lesson and the guide - Mahmoud Hoka - didn't care as much. I guess this is normal for egyptian standard, but one of the worst investment. Please just tour by your self or hire a driver instead (much cheaper)

We had the best private trip ever! If you would like to get the full experience of the highlights of Cairo choose Mimo! He definitely knows his way around. We started with the piramids and the sphinx in the morning and there were only a couple of people so we fully avoided the crowd which was really pleasant and made it exceptional. Then we continue with the local shops where we were shown how the paper is made.The lunch was really great. In the afternoon he showed us the bazaar and gave us a tour at the National Museum. The whole day the driver was waiting for us and picking us up, so we didnt have to worry about transportation. Mimo is funny and friendly, takes great pictures to keep the memories forever!

Fatima was my tour guide for the day. I appreciated that she contacted me 1 day prior to my tour to give me pertinent details and info about the trip. She also provided good tips and recommendations for navigating Cairo. She was prompt in pickup. She provided a lot Of rich history about the sites, willingly took the best photos and provided great commentary to lighten the mood. great! I So glad the tour guide was a lady so I was able to feel comfortable and relaxed with her. She became a new friend. We navigated the pyramids early enough to beat the crowds and blazing hot sun. The camel ride was def a highlight! Guide took lots of pics and videos for me. We had a nice meal together (I suppose a “tourist trap restaurant” but it was tasty) I do feel we speed through some parts of the tour (she wasn’t a big fan of the heat and I can’t blame her because it was HOT) but I got the highlights. Enjoyed the museum portion as well where I got to see a few real mummies unwrapped and lots of great artifacts from king tut etc, to name a few. All fees were included in the tour which I believe makes it a great value especially considering it is a PRIVATE tour so that 1-on-1 was nice! Drove around in an AC Provided SUV- great! Overall it was great day spent. Do yourself and book this tour and also bring some $$ to tip them at the end of the day bc it is a long day and alot of work for all included.

We had an unforgettable day with our guide -Manar at the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum. Manar is not just a guide but the best Egyptologist! Trust her, and any place she will take you too. The tour was insightful, passionate, and truly brought ancient Egypt to life with every step and story.
