On this private Cairo day tour several activities are involved and different periods of ancient history of Egypt are covered as you will visit the pyramids of Giza, namely Great Pyramid of Cheops (khufu), Chephren (Khafre) and Mycerinus (Menkaure), they represent 3 generations dating back to the 4th Dynasty (about 2500 B.C. You will ride a camel for 30 minutes in the Sahara desert around the pyramids as well as the Great Sphinx considered as guardian of the Giza plateau, you will have lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the pyramids. you will have lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the pyramids. Then you will proceed to the Egyptian museum of antiquities in Tahrir square with its treasures that represent ancient Egyptian art along its history from little household tools to massive stone statues , the oriental bazaar of Khan el Khalili, oldest market in Egypt and the whole Middle East, where you will live the experience of bargaining.

    Excellent tour conducted by Manar. She is so knowledgeable and easy going, it was truly a pleasure. She was engaging, answered a bunch of questions, and it showed she cared about Egypt and cared that the tour was everything we wanted it to be. I highly recommend her and this tour.

    Great experience! It’s amazing how much I was able to see in 1 day. Truly appreciate my tour guides focus on getting me back to the airport on time and how on point the driver was about picking us up and getting us to the next location. Also got great pictures!

    My husband and I took this 8-hour tour that included the pyramids, the museum and a couple of other things. The tour started with the pyramids, we started early to avoid the crowds and it was the best decision. Our tour guide Zenab and our driver Ibrahim were fantastic. They took us to all the places around the pyramids, did an excellent presentation on the history of the site and made sure we were not harassed by local vendors. Then, we went to do a camel ride with a very nice local man, the ride was definitely an experience and I recommend anyone try it at least once. It was awesome! We the. Went to see the sphinx ans took really good pictures there. After the first site, we went to a couple of markets where we learned about cotton, papyrus and oils. They took us to a nice restaurant with delicious local foods before going to the Egyptian museum. The museum was very interesting and our guide did a great job going over the most important periods of Egyptian history. After a long day, we were drove back to our hotel. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a great local experience in Cairo.
