Mutianyu Great Wall
The Mutianyu Great Wall is about 70 to 75 kms away from downtown of Beijing, it takes about 1.5hours by car, but during holidays and weekends recommend you leave earlier to avoid traffic and crowd. The Mutianyu Great Wall winds through the high mountains and deep valleys, offering a wide view and breathtaking scenery. While strolling along the Great Wall, you can fully enjoy the undulating mountains and dense forests, and feel the grandeur of nature and the ancient beauty of the Great Wall. Here is the unique Zhengguan Terrace. Three watchtowers stand side by side on one platform, which is extremely rare in the Great Wall. The watchtowers of the Great Wall are densely distributed, with one watchtower approximately every hundred meters. There are also precipitous landscapes such as the "Ox Horn Side" and the "Eagle's Inverted Flight". There are crenellations on both sides of the Great Wall, and the wall is well-preserved, vividly demonstrating the ancient charm of the Great Wall.

5.00Linda the guide is attentive and professional. Even reaching out the night before to remind dressing in layers because the weather is turning unpredictable. She’s knowledgeable, knew the ins and outs of every related history. She’s also excellent in picture taking. Great photo composition, beautiful pictures. I will recommend her to every friends. Cannot ask for more!!

5.00Linda picked us up at 630. We were able to enjoy the wall before the bus loads of people arrives. She was easy to work with and patient as we figured out the paying apps. She also arranged a driver from the airport and it was much less expensive than the driver options our hotel suggested.

5.00Very relaxed trip, great splurge if you're going with elderly or kids (small family/ group). Picked us up and dropped off from our requested location easily. Communicated with us throughout the trip and didn't disappoint! Free to roam at our pace or agreed upon duration.
