This tour is designed for those who love walking outdoors in the real Rain forest, nature lovers, lovers of knowledge on Ecology, and want to take care the natural resources, how to want to breathe clean air and enjoy seeing the local culture, share time with the real local people. You will have the opportunity to traverse through a rustic trail and observe wildlife, sloths; a variety of birds from the Caribbean slope of Costa Rica Country, this beautiful place is part of the Tenorio Volcano National Park which is located in the Guanacaste Mountain range. The hike takes about 2 hours and a half, 5 miles hike approximately, where you go to the Los Teñideros, Borboyones Blue lagoon Rio and high light of the tour Celeste Waterfall after the hike, you will enjoy a delicious Costa Rican Typical style lunch at Bijagua downtown and finally, we will visit a Sloth rescue center.

5.00My group was unable to participate in the Rio Celeste tour due to sudden sickness of several group members. I write this review to share how very kind and helpful Carlos and the tour company were. Even after a last minute cancellation, Carlos worked with us to rebook the tour—assuming everyone had recovered. Although we had to cancel a second time, Carlos and the Company were very kind, helpful, and flexible in attempting to meet our needs. They were very responsive to us through the entire process. Next time I visit Costa Rica, I’ll be sure to book this tour with this company again. I appreciate the great customer service.

5.00My wife and I went on the rainforest hiking private tour with David from Costa Rica Green Life Tours and had an incredible experience. Right from the beginning, David was super kind and friendly. He picked us up from the resort and had a great plan for us. It included hiking in the rainforest, seeing a beautiful waterfall, checking out wildlife at the sloth sanctuary, a delicious local lunch of casado, and because we hiked so quickly, he even added a bonus stop to taste coffee and chocolate! Throughout the day, David shared so much with us about the country and the culture of Costa Rica. We would highly recommend this tour and company to anyone visiting Costa Rica who wants a day of fun and adventure! And, if David is your guide, then know you are in amazing hands!

5.00We took an excursion to rio Celeste, sloth experience, and a coffee/chocolate plantation. Marlon was our driver and Estefan was the guide. It was amazing! Estefan was very enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00Day started with an on time pickup exactly at 7am, followed by a drive to the rain forest. We were offered many opportunities to stop for bathroom breaks, food etc. The hike started with Jose showing us two yellow breastfed toucans. Really nice hike to Rio Celeste falls where Jose shared so much information. On next to the meeting of the two rivers. Hiked back to the tour van and on to lunch at the Hummingbird restaurant at the sloth sanctuary. The best authentic local food we've had since arriving in Costa Rica. Followed by an hour guide through the natural habitat for Sloths, butterflies, poisonous dart frogs, red eyed frog, banana trees, cocoa trees, coffee treas and so many flowers. Returned to the hotel at 4:30 pm. Definitely worth every penny we spent.

5.00We stationed ourselves at Rio Perdido Resort and engaged Green Life Tours for a day trip across the CR continental divide into the Rio Celeste rain forest region and animal sanctuary. It was the best day of our brief 5 days in Costa Rica. Guide/driver Carlos was the best. Knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating to our dietary and age related needs in every way. We have already recommended Green Life Tours to friends in 3 countries - and expect all to use their services. You will not be disappointed, whichever tour you select.

5.00Carlos and his team went above and beyond to ensure my family and I had the best experience. The service was highly personalised and the information was expertly delivered. There was never any time pressure and we did as much as we wanted. Carlos even gave up an evening with his family to get us back from a Rodeo. We used them three times, for a local event (a Rodeo in Liberia), Rio Celeste and Llanos de Cortez Waterfall with plenty to see in between. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
