Enjoy a half day Sightseeing tour to the windmills, the countryside, a local cheese and clogs factory and Volendam.
You will visit a unique Dutch park called the Zaanse Schans not far from Amsterdam. Here are the most special windmills of The Netherlands such as the paint windmill, the sawmill, spices mill and peanut oil mill.
Thereafter you will see a demonstration how Dutch clogs are made and there is a possibility to buy clogs/wooden shoes and souvenirs.
The second stop will be at the Henri Willig farm where they will teach you how they treat their cows and there is a possibility to see how they milk the cows with a milking robot. Thereafter it is time to taste more than 30 flavors of very nice Dutch cheese for free!
At last you will visit Volendam where you can lunch in one of the best fish restaurants in town, buy some nice Dutch waffles or enjoy the nice Harbor of Volendam.
Duration of the tour will be 5 hours and the pick up and drop off is in Amsterdam.

Zaanse Schans
Discover the great Dutch Windmills and take some nice pictures of it. There are 7 windmills left at the Zaanse Schans and a few are open to visit. You can visit the paint windmill (that is where Rembrandt the great Dutch artist purchased his paint), a saw mill, a spice mill and many more. Admission to the windmill park and parking costs are included in this tour.

Learn more about the Dutch wooden shoe making and see a demonstration how they make the Dutch clogs now. There is a possibility to buy the wooden shoes, the clogs and other souvenirs in the wooden shoe factory as well.

5.00We had a great day and our driver Hamza was the perfect guide. The company even accompanied a change of our plans to extend our time and have Hamza returned us to our port in Ijmuiden instead of Amsterdam for a reasonable fee. We loved seeing the windmills and the cheese farm. This was a highlight of our trip.

5.00Got a 5 star service! My experience was spectacular from beginning to end. Sunny was very courteous and professional all along the tour. He shared his knowledge on history related to the destinations and some side notes on the people and the culture in Netherlands. He had an answer for all my curious inquiries and made sure that I didn’t miss any presentation or film where I could find more information on the places we visited. 5.00We really enjoyed the variety of the trip. The stop at organic Jersey cow farm of Henri Willig. Lots of cheese tasting. Enjoyed Zaanse Schans and went into the paint windmill. Enjoyed walk and lunch at Volendam. Trip was well paced and our guide, Gavin, was great.
