The Alaskan sub-arctic ice fishing experience in a quick and easy format! Meet your fishing guide at the lake (directions e-mailed after booking). Learn ice fishing from the most experienced resident and year round professional fishing guides. Enjoy a delicious grilled fish supper at the end of your tour and feel free to involve yourself deeper into a unique and ancient Alaskan tradition. Be welcomed to learn how to turn your own caught fish into a delicious meal. Heated ice fishing shelters are waiting for you and will offer a special ambience. Provided with the necessary resources, you may also proof yourself fishing outside in Alaska's harsh and rugged elements. This is a well rounded ice fishing experience providing you with the long-time memories to take home with you!

You will check in with your fishing guide at our ice fishing cabin# F33 or # F38. Following a short safety briefing you will be fully set up with gear, bait and instructions to be successful. You will be provided your own fishing- hole, rod, bait, and seat. Available heated shelters and cabins will keep you warm as well as hot water for drinks (hot cocoa, coffee, and tea). Your fishing guide will continue to provide tips and tricks to improve your success, and provide instructions on several fishing techniques respective the course of the day's fish activity. Underwater cameras, other specialized equipment, and spike locations will improve your success rate. The opportunity to learn to clean your fish, or help set up ice fishing holes. A cook-out of your catch will conclude the tour.

what an amazing experience! Not only did we go fishing, but fishing in the icy lake and we also got to enjoy the delicious fish we caught right after. It was a blast and so tasty. Our tour guide was Michael, and he was super friendly and had some really cool stories to share. He even showed us how to make a hole in the lake for fishing and even made us dinner! The only downside was that the place was kinda hard to find at night because it was so dark and had no lights or signs. The directions we got in the email weren’t very accurate.

This was amazing! We caught baby salmon and Tyson took care of us, made the fish right in front of us and we even saw a bald eagle right outside! We loved every minute of this and highly recommend. The fish was yummy when he cooked it as well and the inside of the cabin was nice and toasty! Fabulous adventure! Super grateful Stasha answered the call and sent us the Google map info and the fishing license info!

We had a great time ice fishing with Tyson! He was knowledge and friendly. We haven’t really fished before but he made it fun and easy. We caught more than enough fish. At the end they were fried up and tasty!

We had a great time on this excursion! Easy instructions, nice guide and cozy set up. We only caught one tiny fish but it was fun anyway!

Amazing experience, will be booking again next time we’re in Fairbanks. Also recommend taking a couple of alcoholic beverages to drink while you wait for the fish to bite.

We had such a fun time ice fishing in Alaska! The weather wasn’t perfect that day, but getting to the lake was super easy — we just followed Google Maps and drove right to the spot. When we arrived, Michael welcomed us with a big smile. After waiting for the other two participants, our group of four headed out together onto the frozen lake. Michael took us to a red tent set up on the ice, and that’s where our adventure started. It felt like something out of a cartoon — I’ve only seen people ice fishing in animated movies, so doing it for real was really exciting. Michael explained everything clearly and showed us how to use the fishing gear. My daughter picked it up right away and kept catching small fish one after another. They were not the big ones we were hoping for, but it was still a lot of fun watching her. Later, Michael helped us try for bigger fish, and we finally caught two nice ones! Overall, this was an unforgettable experience — fun, unique, and something you can only do in Alaska. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
