This is the most complete QUITO day tour you have ever imagined! We are covering a lot and will never feel rushed!

It might end up being a private tour but if we have other potential participants, this might include one or more participants.

-TELEFERICO (cable car) to reach the 4000 meters / 12000 feet (geat view of Quito)

-SWING IN THE CLOUDS. we will hike for about 15 minutes until we get there

- MITAD DEL MUNDO ( equator line) We are visiting the real equator line where there is a very interesting museum

-BASILICA DE QUITO which is the biggest neogotic church in south America, We are planning to visit all inside

- LUNCH TIME. (optional)

- EL SAGRARIO CHURCH (inside)

- PLAZA DE LA INDEPENDENCIA

- IGLESIA DE LA COMPANIA (from outside)

-CHOCOLATE TASTING. Depending how we are going with our timing. We can include a delicious experience as an appetizer previous to lunch.

It was an awesome tour of the city we really enjoyed. We got to see a bunch of different parts of the city. Jorge was a really good informative guide who knew a lot about the city and its history. I would highly suggest taking this tour to check out the city !!

Jose was an outstanding guide and a great host. From the start, it was clear how much he genuinely loves Quito and enjoys sharing its history, culture, and hidden gems. He was knowledgeable, friendly, easy to talk to, and made the experience feel super personal. We felt welcomed and well taken care of on our first day in Quito. We highly recommend Jose.

We booked this tour as part of our 3 day stay in Quito. We actually booked Quito, Mindo, and Cotopaxi all through this company as a private 3 day adventure. It was a best decision as we had the same guide for all 3 days and he accommodated our wishes and adjusted things based on what we wanted to do. Took us to a local market, suggested amazing places to eat ( still dreaming of empanadas he took us to), gave great recommendations for where to buy gifts and where to go after the tour was over. Our tour guide had a great knowledge of a city, history and answered lots of questions from our kids and us. He also made sure to snap pictures of our family and help us create long lasting memories.

My tour with Jorge of Footprint Journeys in Quito was perfect. He was friendly and knowledgeable, balancing sharing information and letting us take in the experiences. He took care to avoid crowds when possible. I was traveling solo and appreciated joining the small group (there was one other guest for our tour). The optional meal we had on the volcano was a highlight! The ease of pick up at my hotel and all included fees made this a comfortable and convenient way to spend the one day I had in Quito. I look forward to being back and would book another tour with Jorge again!

Our guide Jorge, gave us the best Quito experience. Hi calm manner, and extensive local knowledge provided us with a great positive experience of Quito. Highlights were the main town square, Spanish colonial architecture, the Ecuadorian inspired Basilica and the 'big swing'. In supporting the local community, Jorge suggested a lunch of fresh homemade empanadas at the top of the gondala - which were yummy! Thanks Jorge, for making this trip so enjoyable :)

We only had one day in Quito and this tour allowed us to see some of the highlights without having to figure out the logistics ourselves. Our guide Jose was very friendly and knowledgeable. As two women on a private tour, we felt very safe. We come from a very flat and low altitude place so we struggled a bit with the altitude, but José was very patient with our slower pace.
