At three hours from Quito we find the Ecological Reserve Los Ilinizas where one of its main attractions is the turquoise lagoon that is located in the crater of Quilotoa, the wonderful landscapes make this tourist attraction an experience that you can not miss if you are in Ecuador.

Laguna Quilotoa
After we will go to the community lookout, from here we will descend towards the lagoon where we will have some free time to visit it and walk around. The ascend is a bit tough, so that it is recommended to go up on a mule for people who do not count with a good physical condition (You can rent a mule to people of community directly $10 per person aprox. After your lunch break, we will head back by an artisan workshop in Tigua, famous for its picturesque paintings.
Canon del Rio Toachi
Finally we will visit the Toachi Canyon lookout. Return to Quito.

5.00We got picked up at our hotel in the morning. Our tour guide Irene was amazing. She gave us a lot information about Ecuador, Quito, the culture, the volcanos and the people. We really enjoyed our trip although the hike from the lagoon back was a little bit strenuous. We could highly recommended this tour. And big thanks to Irene!

5.00Touring the Quilotoa has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life I felt in another planet 🌎, the color of the water, the panoramas are spectacular, definitely would return, everything this experience was possible thanks to the super guide VERONICA LIVE, Good wonderful person very human, prepared his explanation was more than excellent, 💯 and the driver CARLOS HERNANDEZ very friendly, attentive helped me at all times, even I loaned a raincoat and not to get wet and that I will never forget a wonderful human warmth 💯 do not miss this experience and ask the guides that I mention ✨👌🍀😊

5.00I shared my tour to Quilotoa with Hoger a super chevere Canadian... Veronica Live was a fair guide, a young girl and very committed to her work, she was loving him, fun and striving to create a beautiful environment, Patricio was our driver and also did an extraordinary job of doing the tour prudently and optimizing the times. If you have the opportunity to travel to Quito allow yourself to meet these beautiful people... it was a great experience, Quito has a lot to explore, Rio accompaniment of guides in specific places is elementary. Hopefully my appreciation will help you decide to explore!

5.00All I can say is WOW! This is my 2nd tour with Veronica and she somehow gave a better one than the first. She's informative, happy, and truly enjoys what she does so it really makes the whole experience unforgettable. Out of all the tours I've taken she's my favourite guide! I also have to give our driver Patricio a lot of credit for being so pleasant and driving long hours while doing it comfortably and safely. Honestly can't recommend these 2 enough!

5.00Great tour. Spent the morning seeing several indigenous sites with opportunity for some souvenirs. Total 3 hours spent at Quilotoa with some amazing views. Jessica & Eric were a great team.

5.00Irene is very friendly and an amazing guide! We felt cared for and had a very fun time! Quilotoa is very beautiful and breathtaking~~ a very tough hike for the unseasoned, but it's worth it!

5.00Irene was our saviour! We had booked with another company for a 2 day trip to Banos. They transferred us to Quito tours with no information. Irene got the problem worked out and got us to Banos.
