Dongmyo Flea Market
Dongmyo Flea Market is Seoul’s open‑air playground for thrifters and treasure hunters. Steps from Dongmyo Station (Exit 3), it blends a time‑capsule atmosphere of the 1960s–70s with today’s vintage boom—think racks of secondhand fashion, old cameras, records, books and quirky curios. Open year‑round and especially lively on weekends, it’s the perfect place to browse, bargain and people‑watch between your strolls along the shrine’s stone walls.
Cheonggyecheon Stream
A peaceful stream flowing through the heart of Seoul. Once hidden under concrete, it’s now beautifully restored with walking paths, bridges, and art installations — an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the contrast between nature and the city’s modern skyline.

It was an absolutely perfect tour from start to finish. Our guide, Kim, was exceptionally friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and the food was truly delicious. The market was filled with fascinating sights, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the tour.

Wandering through Dongmyo Flea Market felt like a quiet treasure hunt. Timeworn plates, old postcards, and charming toys invited slow browsing, and the vendors greeted us with kind smiles. There was no rush—just enough time to look, ask questions, and choose one or two pieces that felt special. At Gwangjang Market, the day turned warm and delicious. Freshly griddled pancakes, tidy rolls of gimbap, and a sweet finish arrived in an easy, thoughtful order. Our host kept the pace graceful, steering us to cleaner, less-crowded corners and timing each stop so we could enjoy the food while it was at its best. Little details—napkins at the ready, a seat found just when we needed it—made the experience feel cared for. It’s a simple itinerary, beautifully done: a soft blend of history you can hold and flavors you’ll remember. Bring a small tote and comfortable shoes, and let Seoul show you its gentlest side. I left with a pretty plate, a happy appetite, and a very calm heart.
