I highly recommend this experience in Seoul. Ricky was a welcoming and knowledgeable host. He clearly knows and cares deeply about Korean cuisine and culture. He taught us how to make two appetizers, a main and two sides, each with an explanation behind the dish. Cooking itself was fun! The group was kept small and intimate. The space was very well thought out, everything down to the cooking stations, eating area, lighting area, music, and decor. This is more than a cooking class. It is a cultural experience. Don’t hesitate - come cook with Royal Seoul!

I recently took this class. It was a great learning experience. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and made the class feel easy and approachable. The recipe was simple to follow, yet the final dish was absolutely delicious, something I’ll definitely make again at home. A great experience for any skill level! The place is hidden and may require some navigation if you are not familiar with the area. Plan to ahead a bit of earlier to locate the Hanok.

This cooking class was absolutely fantastic! We made a traditional Korean dish from scratch, and it was such a rewarding experience. Our instructor, Park, was warm, knowledgeable, and did a great job balancing hands-on instruction with little bits of history and cultural background about the ingredients and the dish itself. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the step-by-step directions were easy to follow—even for beginners. We not only got to enjoy a delicious meal that we prepared ourselves, but we walked away with new skills and a deeper appreciation for Korean cuisine. Highly recommend this class to anyone interested in food, culture, or just having a great time!
