Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

An unforgettable experience! We saw lots of dolphins swimming alongside the boat, which was a magical sight. The ocean views were stunning, and the crew made the trip even better with their friendly and professional service. Just a heads-up: If you're prone to motion sickness, it can hit hard after about an hour. Friend experienced it, but the staff were amazing—they quickly offered medicine, gave a free drink, and checked in often. They did everything they could to help. Still 5 stars for the incredible marine life and top-notch crew. Just be cautious if you get seasick easily.

Have your cameras ready for action, we saw Dolphins all around us and got lucky to see a couple of Whales.

Bring layers! It was cold on the water and overcast despite being sunny and hot on land. The information on what to wear whale watching in San Diego was extremely helpful. Although we did not see any whales, we saw an amazing amount of dolphins. The whole trip was a lot of fun.
