To receive your Alcatraz Island Ticket you must check into the Big Bus Visitor Center one day prior to the Alcatraz Tour date, or before 9am on the date of your Alcatraz Tour.

5.00The experience was amazing the team was very helpful and explained where to go for the tour and where to get onto the bus. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Alcatraze was great and well worth the money. Will definately recommend this company.

5.00Great visit to Alcatraz Island. Very informative staff who provided a great experience. The Big Bus tour was equally enjoyable. The onboard audio was the best I’ve experienced in a hot on/hop off program. It was extremely informative and kept your attention. It pointed out a lot of interesting features that we otherwise would have missed!!!

4.00We paired the Alcatraz tour with a 48 hr pass for the hop on-hop off bus. The bus gave us familiarity with the neighborhoods and we could plan where we wanted to spend more time exploring. The Alcatraz tour included the ferry to “the Rock” which was a nice way to see the city and the bridge from the Bay. Alcatraz was interesting to see and they provided good information on the history.

5.00Probably the best way to get around San Francisco and see the sights We booked this in advance, online. Saves money! Which is much needed in a very expensive city The tour goes around all the main sights in San Francisco with an audio tour on the bus. Dress ready for all weather's. We set out in hot sun then we were blasted with wind and rain on the bridge. Which added to the fun, as the covered seats downstairs filled up very quickly We got off at the bridge view point and waited for the next bus (about 20 mins) I will say, that most of the staff were happy and jolly. This driver wasn't, a right grumpy sole. There were sights and information we would of missed if it wasn't for this tour, so thank you Oh, and at the bridge view point, be prepared for the wasps. Hundreds of the excited beasties

5.00Great way to see the city and its famous sights and hear about some of its history. The sunset tour was good but bring a coat for the evening , mid September as going over to Treasure Island was a little chilly. Alcatraz definitely worth it 👌

4.00The Big Bus tour was great, with the complimentary audio accompaniment being very informative. Easy to hop off and visit places, then hop on the next bus along (usually around 15mins) to continue the tour of the bay. We needed to amend the day of our Alcatraz trip, and this was easily done via email a few days before. Would use these guys again

5.00The combo of three units can only be recommended. The Big Bus tour on the day was very insightful and refreshing. You learn enough about the city. The trip to Alcatraz is part of the mandatory program and is unforgettable. The sunset tour is the highlight. The city at dusk: indescribably beautiful. We had a super dedicated driver. We'll never forget it.
