This is a great tour to visit many highlight spots in the city of San Salvador and El Boquerón National Park, and to try pupusas with a great view of the city. Our guide did a great job making a nice route to walk around the city to visit the plazas, churches, and the amazing library. Afterward, we went to the National Park (be ready to walk many stair steps!), where we had a nice view of the volcano and the park area. We finished the tour at a restaurant where we had the pupusas, though I think I've had better ones in the city. The restaurant also has local coffee that you can purchase. Overall, it's a very nice tour to learn about San Salvador and enjoy a nice view of the city.

Wendy was so phenomenal. Very knowledgeable, passionate and patient. She loves her culture and her ancestry and it was on full display (despite her being under the weather). She shared her stories of travel and family. She was super witty. This was probably one of best experiences I have ever encountered!! THANK YOU Wendy

I had a private guide and I was given a detailed historical tour of the city, a short hike to the crater and the last stop was stopping for lunch to sample the Pupusa which is a Salvadorian national dish. My tour guide, Lisbeth, was excellent!

Lizbeth gave a comprehensive tour and was so thoughtful and attentive throughout the whole day. It was so nice and eye-opening to walk through the capital city and see the beautiful El Boqueron national park. This tour is a must-do when in San Salvador.
