This experience was beyond disappointing. Our guide was very nice - but our guide was the one positive about an experience that was underwhelming, disappointing, and far from what was "advertised." We were led to believe that we would be fed real food on this food tour. But the tour's food consisted of little more than n shared baguettes and way too much subpar cold cheese and cold meat, served in an abandoned (and not very clean) wine store with a scary bathroom. Again, the guide was very nice. And the neighborhood through which we walked was darling. But we signed up for a food tour thinking we would be fed, well, food. Real food. The first stop was arguably the best - featuring yummy chocolates and macaroons. But even the timing of that stop was strange - in that the tour started out with dessert-style foods instead of more savory foods that would build up to dessert (odd to start with dessert). It's also odd that the tour charged so much money for our *kids* to take part in the tour when the kids couldn't drink the wine that's offered. (Seemed like kids should be charged considerably less than adults) Again, the guide was lovely and the neighborhood was cute but it felt like this tour was thrown together at the last minute - that maybe some chef didn't show up or some original restaurant plan fell through?. We were led to believe we would be trying some actual French dishes (or at least warm appetizers). Instead, the foods offered were bite-size chocolates, two macaroons, a crepe (only sweet crepes were offered - nothing savory that woudl feal like a meal) and a final "meal" that was literally shared baguettes with shared (not great) cheese and meat - a sort of glorified indoor picnic in a very strange abandoned store featuring a rather scary bathroom.. There was far, far, too much (subpar) cold meat and cheese. In the words of our kids, it was like being charged a million dollars for a charcuterie spread that you wasn't very appetizing. If you are like us and were excited by the idea of this tour - please do yourself a favor and spend the money you would spend on this tour on a really nice sitdown meal at a proper Parisian restaurant. To the tour operators - please don't use slick marketing to oversell a "selection" of food that cost a fraction of what you charged all of us. We love the concept but feel like who ever organized this tour should be taken to task for taking advantage of tourists and calling this a food tour. Again - guide was lovely. But that was the only lovely thing about this tour.

You need to check meeting point , we opened our booking and it had our meeting point and you click on it so it opens in google maps. It does not open at your meeting point it opens at the afternoon meeting point. We got there early to be sure we would not be late, waiting waiting but no guide turned up. We were heading back to our motel an hour later and we received a text to say the tour has left with out us. We manage to get hold of the company and they rang ahead to tour leader and so we rang to catch up and join our tour. It ended up being a good tour and the tour guide Emmanuel was very knowledgeable and funny and the food was delicious. Just a bit disappointed that we missed so much of the tour .

Sally was an excellent and engaging guide. She has great knowledge of the food and wines in addition to the history of the area and Paris itself. Note there is a lot of food on this tour so I wouldn’t recommend planning any meals right before or shortly afterwards. If I were to make a suggested improvement, it would be a little more of the food on the way with less at the final location, but it’s all very good and great variety using local proprietors. Definitely recommend. .
