Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge
The Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge is a manatee sanctuary nestled in the heart of Florida's Nature Coast. 5.00Our manatee sightseeing tour in Crystal River with Captain Colt was absolutely incredible from start to finish. In just 90 minutes, we saw more wildlife and learned more about the area than we ever expected. Captain Colt’s knowledge, passion, and genuine love for the manatees made the entire experience feel personal and meaningful. He navigated the river with ease, pointed out sights we would have completely missed on our own, and shared fun facts and stories that made the tour both educational and entertaining. We were able to get amazing views of the manatees in their natural habitat—calm, curious, and truly magical to watch. The boat was comfortable, the pace was perfect, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Captain Colt made sure everyone had a great view, felt safe, and got the most out of the experience. If you’re visiting Crystal River, do not miss this tour. It’s the perfect blend of adventure, nature, and expert guidance. 4.00Come when climate is colder and where polarized glasses . When climate is warm you will see less manatees and water is not clear.

5.00Colt took his time which made this a great experience. We saw a gator, two bald eagles and many manatees. I have several pictures of them coming up to breathe. I wouod recommend this relaxing and educational sightseeing cruise.

3.00It was nice. Boat was nice and the Captain was pleasant and friendly. The down side was the water was murky and has been that way for years. There is no notation of this when booking the trip. The only pictures of the manatees where of their noises coming out of the water… not great for photography. We did get to see other wildlife, such as alligators, birds, and a turtle.

5.00Our guide was wonderful! It was a very busy day on the water but he took us to a quiet area. We saw several manatees, a dolphin feeding and putting on quite a show, alligators and even a bald eagle!

5.00Our captain was very knowledgeable. He showed us several manatees alligator turtles. It was really nice and you could ask him anything. Would definitely recommend the boat ride
