With a maximum of 9 guests per boat, we prioritize heartfelt and sustainable experience that benefits both our guests and the manatees.
Please remember that our manatees are not in captivity, so they are not trained to come up to you. These tours are conducted in their natural habitat, meaning that every tour we perform is different.
We are proud to be the only Manatee Tour Company in Crystal River Florida that has a education program for not only our manatees but now our onsite Aquarium with a focus on Native and Invasive species in Florida. The semi-private tour includes entry to the Aquarium

Guests check in at the front desk, and then a tour guide will show everyone USFW's Manatee Manners video, instruct our snorkel briefing, and fit everyone for wetsuits. Once it is time, all guests will be shuttled down the dock to meet their Captain. Once on the boat the Captain will take everyone on Kings Bay to locate a manatee to snorkel with. The tour is 3 Hours in Total, with 1 hour of prepwork and 2 on the water. Prepare to spend up to 3 ½ hours including all of the necessary prep work before your tour Minimum of 2 guests required to preform the tour Our boats carry up to 9, for groups larger than 6 please contact us. Minimum of 3 people to perform tour This snorkel experience happens in the manatees natural habitat, which is what makes this so special! They are not captive animals and are free to roam any part of our 588 acre bay. Please keep this in mind when you book your tour, as every trip is different than the last and things like amount of manatees, water clarity, etc are out of our control.

3.00Here’s a suggested review you can copy or adjust as you like: ---Mixed Experience on the Manatee Tour We recently went on a manatee tour and had a mixed experience. The crew was friendly and tried their best, but it took a long time to actually find a manatee - well over an hour - and both the adults and the kids in the group were getting bored and frustrated that we seemed to be the only boat struggling to find any manatees. Eventually we did encounter one. However the visibility in the water was so poor and it was very difficult to see more than a foot or so in front of you, so we didn't see very much at all - fleeting glimpses. We hadn't expected that as as there had been nothing in the advertisements to suggest the visibility may be so poor. That said, our kids still enjoyed it when we eventually found a manatee, and our guide prioritised them to ensure they had a good chance to see them, which was great. Personally I only saw the top of one manatee briefly as it swan underneath me. Overall, it wasn’t quite what we hoped for. We appreciate it's nature and it's unpredictable, however we were disappointed at the time it took to find a manatee and the lack of visibility with the very brief encounters we had. However it may be more enjoyable in different seasons and if the water is indeed 'crystal' clear. Our experience was that Crystal River wasn't so Crystal clear. An expensive lonf day for us with the 2 hour drive each way, with sadly little to show for it. Overall - kids enjoyed it once they were in the water, adults disappointed. Staff were lovely! ---

5.00HANNAH & KEN were amazing! This is a majestic and wonderful experience! We saw 10-20 manatees. W babies. All types of manatees. It was a cold day so Captain Ken brought hot coco and warm water to warm us up after we came back in the boat. Would do this again with visitors or anyone really. Thanks again SeaDaddys!!

5.00This was such an amazing experience! Our semi-private tour turned into a private tour as it was just myself and my mother that booked a reservation for the day and time we went. Both the captain and my guide were wonderful. They were able to answer all of our questions and made the tour wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

4.00Emmitt the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and captain Michelle drove us around safely. We saw 1 manatee and hung out in that area for about 20 minutes and as a group decided to get back on the boat and look for more. We didn’t find any more but did have a nice boat ride with nice scenery and saw 4 gators. Happy with our purchase.
