But, I can be your food buddy. Me and my friends were born and raised in Seoul, and acquired all the knowledge about the best Kbbq places in Seoul. If you are looking for the legit experience where you can eat the best Kbbq introduced by locals, you have to book this experience. Location will change every month, randomly selected by me and my friends. It will include our all time favorite restaurants, but also recently trending restaurants. During this experience, we will be having different parts of pork that Koreans usually enjoy, which includes pork belly, jowl meat, pork neck and more! *** Please note!! This is not the experience where I give you a huge insight about tradition or eating culture, but it is more focused on 'eating together'. So I am just letting you know that you might be disappointed if you are expecting to learn traditional way to eat kbbq. (I can show how I personally like to eat tho)

5.00It turned out I was the only guest for this experience after a few last-minute cancellations — but honestly, that made it even more special. As a solo traveler in South Korea, I’d been struggling to figure out how to enjoy a proper Korean BBQ (it’s usually a group affair), but this curated BBQ experience with Alex was exactly what I needed. From the moment we met, Alex made me feel completely at ease. His English was fantastic, his knowledge of Korean cuisine was impressive, and his enthusiasm made the entire afternoon fun and relaxed. The food? Absolutely delicious — every bite perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. A word of advice: **come hungry!** There’s a lot to eat, and you’ll want to savor every bit. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this experience is a must-do in South Korea.

1.00Unfortunately, this event did not go ahead. I had no communication from the host leading up to the day and had to contact them myself. I’m still waiting for my refund to be processed. That said, my other bookings through TripAdvisor have always been excellent, which makes this one-off experience disappointing. Hopefully, the host and platform resolve this promptly.

5.00I LOVED THIS. The food was great and the host was fantastic. Even better was getting to hang out with the other guests for a couple of beers after. Even if that hadn’t happened I’d still give this five stars. It’s Korea the way you hope it will be.

5.00We did this on our second day in Seoul and it was great way to get an idea of how to cook and eat kbbq. Jin was very nice and it was a really good meal. A very enjoyable lunch.

3.00The food was amazing! And the guide let my friend come along at the last minute which was really nice. Caution to Americans, though: The tour guide was nice to everyone else on the tour, but singled me out multiple times to mock something I said or make fun of me to the others. It got to the point that everyone felt free to mock anything I said. Plus, he served everyone but me and my (also American) friend, which was kind of blatant. Before he realized we were American, he was a perfectly nice guy. My friend literally stopped speaking halfway through the event because we could say and do nothing right. Again, the food was great. And he was really nice until he found out we were American. So just take that as you will. Or lie and say you’re Canadian. That would probably work.

1.00My guide stood me up and didn’t let me know until I had waited at the meet spot for over 30 minutes that they were still not close. I’m not sure I got refunded and Viator did not offer me any credits to future purchases which is disappointing since I frequently use them.
