Welcome to Seoul - you might be wondering, where on earth do I start? You’ll join one of our local Seoul hosts as they help you get to grips with the stellar public transport system and see famous attractions like the futuristic Dongdaemun Design Plaza along the way. Cruise around a quirky neighborhood or visit the Myeong-dong shopping area. Ask your host any questions you have about exploring the city and get ready to kickstart your trip in the best way possible!
Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

5.00This was our first trip to Seoul, so we chose to do this 4-hour tour on the first day to get some orientation and to get the best out of our three days in Seoul. Our guide Oki picked us up punctually at our hotel, which was nice and convenient. We had a list of places we wanted to visit and she tailored an itinerary based on this. We especially wanted to visit the historically significant places together with her to understand more about the history and culture and to maximise our experience in Seoul. She more than fulfilled our expectations! Oki is very knowledgeable, easy going and fun. She showed us quite a few of Seoul’s highlights at a leisurely pace and also showed us how to use the subway. We had a wonderful time with Oki and highly recommend a private tour with her! This was our 4-hour tour: 1. Changdeokgung Palace, as Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesdays (book tickets online in advance for the Secret Garden) 2. Bukchon Hanok Village 3. Insadong 4. Ikseondong Village
The best Seoul visit one can have. Emilia is a fabulous guide.

5.00I had a fabulous personalised tour with Yubin! She met me at my hotel and took me in hand and showed me the sites. Not only is she a professional and highly accomplished guide, she is a beautiful person as well who explained Seoul’s culture to me and who gave me practical tips for getting around on my own. 4.00Giwon was very pleasant and helpful. Some of my friends however needed more time to shop and couldn't catch up with the pace. Didn't get to ride the train to other sites as planned originally. It was a walking tour so just be well prepared. Perhap first on the list should have been a tour site, then finally shop and eat.

5.00I had the best introduction to S. Korea from a unique point of view with Yujin. I was paired with Yujin based on a few initial questions and it was spot on in pairing me up with her. Yujin was my personal guide thru Ihwa Mural Village (although there are no longer amazing murals such as the Koi fishes) but it was compensated with a wonderful stroll through Bukchon hanok village, the theatre district, Insadong and Ik Seongdong area. I love handmade crafts and was very happy to purchase local artwork and boho carryall bag from local designer Maki in Bukchon. I was so grateful to Yujin for sharing her insight on everyday life. It has definitely kickstarted more explorations for me in my next visit to S. Korea. Yujin is fluent in English and is so laid back. I think my experience was enhanced since our outlook and personalities complement each other.

5.00I took a last minute Seoul trip with a local. What a fantastic experience. My guide, Jiwan, gave me a great insight into the history, culture and food of Seoul. His English was perfect and he had a great sense of humour. I was spending the next day on my own sightseeing and he gave me advice about how to get to places I wanted to see. I often do tours with locals when I travel and Jiwan was one of the best guides I’ve had. Highly recommend this tour.
