1. Learn about the history and see how matcha is made First, you’ll hear a short explanation of the history of tea in Japan. You’ll also see how matcha is made using a traditional stone mill. 2. Watch a traditional tea ceremony and enjoy sweets Next, a tea ceremony master will perform the traditional tea-making ritual, which has a history of over 500 years. You’ll then enjoy the freshly prepared matcha along with nerikiri, a traditional Japanese sweet. 3. Make your own matcha Finally, you’ll have the chance to make your own bowl of matcha using traditional tools. 5.00It was a new experience and more fun and interesting than I thought. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Anyone will think it will be a time of good memories without a burden. You can see the expert's specimen directly in front of your eyes and follow it right after you get used to it quickly. Maybe a short time, but it's been a precious time.

5.00This was a wonderful experience! Easily one of the highlights of our trip to Japan and certainly my favorite part during our stay in Tokyo. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind and I learned so much! The experience was so impactful that we sought out matcha, bowls, and other tea making tools to bring home with us so that we could continue to enjoy! I would definitely recommend this experience.

5.00We had such fun coming to this tea ceremony. The staff were so nice and they accommodated us even though we got stuck in Tokyo traffic. The ceremony itself was a little pocket of calm and tranquility in a busy city, and we loved drinking and also making the matcha. Amazing experience.

This old & original little tea house, tucked away on a little side street, is not only beautiful & relaxing, it’s a tranquil & peaceful, allowing you to leave the hustle & bustle of the outside world for a short while whilst learning about the traditions & history of the tea ceremony. The hosts are very knowledgable & very friendly!
