You’ll brew and taste each cup yourself, spending around 60 - 120 minutes in the workshop area learning, experimenting, and exchanging stories with other coffee lovers. We joined this workshop as a group of 2 coffee enthusiasts to learn the art of Vietnamese coffee. We were matched with another group of 2 to take the workshop as 4. Within 2.5 hours, our tour guide, Claire, walked us through the process of brewing 6 kinds of coffee. She brought all the necessary equipment and explained to us, in detail, what to do and even showed us how to add some art onto the egg/coconout foam. It was a fun experience, and at the end of it we even got a Vietnamese filter to prepare the coffee ourselves at home as a souvenir. Getting to know another group of travelers was also great, and I could imagine that, especially if traveling alone, this might be great to get to know other people with similar interests. This workshop is 500k VND well spent in my opinion. Thanks to Claire who was open to answer any questions in good English for this great workshop.

Friendly guide to making all the different sorts of Vietnamese coffee in a small local coffee shop. The host, Clare, was great at explaining it all. We went for the four drink option to reduce caffeine intake as they are strong coffees! Though you aren't obliged to drink it all :) Also, good to ensure you have eaten something before arriving as all that coffee on an empty stomach cam be challenging...
