We had such a great experience with our guide, Ola! She was warm, approachable, and really knew her way around the trail — always finding the best paths to keep us away from the busier groups. She sprinkled in fun stories and little bits of local insight, which made the walk even more enjoyable. We also appreciated how clearly she explained the safety guidelines: simple, practical, and easy to remember. The route was just right for everyone in the group. Definitely an experience we’d recommend!

It was superb and so much excited. It was a new experience for me , must try one at Iceland. According to weather and spots we have managed the time to spend in every location. Especially while hiking to the Glacier it was morning and our Guide Ms Ola , she knows all like how to stay more, what all things should explore while hiking , taking photos, even postures and she explained briefly about the Glacier and Iceland's Earth. A best Guide like Ola was the great part of our hiking. Overall satisfied expected a huge glacier cave there but it was small. But new experience. Totally different experience. As I said I have hiked on morning and it was so pleasant, fresh feel.

Very good and extremely wonderful experience! The glacier hike and blue ice cave tour exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was well organized and felt safe and professional from start to finish. Our guide Ola was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She explained a lot about the glacier and the ice caves, always checked on everyone, and made sure the whole group felt comfortable and confident. Her positive attitude and motivative little story really made the experience even more special. We were very lucky to have this adventure, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our Iceland trip. Highly recommended to anyone who wants an unforgettable glacier experience!

Great experience, with a small group of 8 people, due to the period (November). The guide was very friendly, smiling, welcoming, good advice. The weather was good. Hiking in incredible crevices. The ice cellar was a small one, but it depends on the nature, how the glacier shapes as the ice melts.

We did a cave tour and hike on the glacier today and it was really great. Our guide Jan did a really really good job. He was very energetic and excited about the glacier and it infected our whole group. It was important to him that we got good photos but he told us many intersting facts about the glacier, too! He had a really good vibe and kept a good eye on the group so no one got left behind. We trusted him with our lives and we trusted his cake recommondation. The brownie at the Vatnajökull Café was really great, he said it's the best in Iceland. I have not yet tried another but I think what he says is true. The only thing: on the Arctic Adventures website, it was told to bring lunch and drinks to the hike. We did it but I would not recommend to do so. We were busy and on the move the whole time, so there weren't any moments for snack breaks and there are obviously no toilets on the glacier so we did not want to drink anything. Keep your lunch in the car. Thanks Jan for the great day!!

We loved it!!! He touched us with the guide Vero who was very friendly, gave us explanations in Spanish so we could understand. We did the tour at 09.00 am, the first thing explains how to prepare with lifeguards, crampons, helmet etc. We boarded the bus and 20 minutes later we were already at the entrance to the glacier. I was worried that the walk would be hard for me since I don’t exercise much but it was easy and comfortable. We enter the ice cave first thing so we wait no more than 5 minutes to enter. I knew she was very young and doesn't give claustrophobia, so I wasn't surprised. Then we walked a little further up the glacier, got into a crevasse and Vero was explaining things about glaciers, mills etc. There is enough time to take pictures and the truth that the excursion was very pleasant and enjoyable. Although you don’t travel much distance, you end up a little tired so for us as the first time on a glacier was an unforgettable experience and highly recommended. Before booking I was very informed about all the tours and companies and this one that combines small cave and easy walk along the glacier was the most complete, plus the bus brings you to the starting point of the glacier, so I think we got it right. In total it was 4 hours. Thank you very much to Vero and the rest of the team
