Woljeongri beach and Café street is known for its scenery, tranquil white sand and beautiful emerald ocean. Near the beach, a stretch of cozy and beautiful cafes aligns the streets.
Gwangchigi Beach
This beach is distinctively different from normal beaches thanks to a few special features. The first is its soft black sand formed from gradual weathering of basalt rocks. Whimsically enough, the water is still emerald clear by the dark sand. You will also walk on solidified lava rock structures covered in green moss. Smell the fresh sea air, touch the vibrant surroundings, and walk as far into the horizon.
Also referred as ‘Sunrise Peak’, this archetypal tuff-cone structure rose from the shallow sea by hydro-volcanic eruptions 5,000 years ago. Climbing to the top, you can find a grass-filled crater surrounded by numerous sharp rocks. In spring, the crater is filled with bright yellow colored canola flowers. This colossal footprint left by nature is a UNESCO World Heritage and also a habitat for 200 types of trees and wild animals. Japanese empire dig holes on the walls of this lava structure, using them to hide military camps. Now they are used by Haenyeos as their diving platforms. Haenyeos are female divers who dive into the ocean water to gather various shellfish, seaweed, etc, without using any underwater diving equipment. Their unique way of life and culture were inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Heritage of the World. You can watch their performance nearby.

Hallasan National Park
Hallasan is 1,950m in height and is the highest mountain in South Korea. Widely known by scientists for its geological value, the mountain is a dormant volcano made mostly of basalt. There are 368 parasite volcanos called Oreums around the main mountain. You will take Eorimok trail(Northwest): This short trail is another relatively easy trail for beginners. In spring, the nearby meadows are adorned with red royal azaleas. From the stone pathway to Manse Dongsan, visitors can catch a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside and the island’s signature Oreums.
Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff
Moving past a flock of pine tree forest, we will find a beach filled with a group of mysterious, black rock pillars in shapes of cubes and hexagons in varying sizes. These rocks almost seem as carved by human hands. Formed by the cooling and solidification of lava flows, the columnar jointing arose from contraction of molten lava during cooling. This is a unique sight designated as natural monument of Jeju Island.

The forest nearby contains a variety of rare plants such as brambles.

The tour operators are great and responsive. In Seoul, Jung was great at giving historical information as well as current information (politics, k dramas, kpop). Jung was also really great with my mom, the grandmother of the group who couldn’t walk as much in the heat. Harry was our guide for the DMZ and was great as well. Clover in Jeju was awesome and took great pictures. Clover also was great with my mother and flexible on how much time we spent in different spots. Luke in Busan knew where all of the great photo spots were and also was flexible in changing things due to the rainy weather. Every guide was fantastic! They went above and beyond and were always willing to answer questions.

Fantastic Tour! Small group, different tour guides for different cities. I wished we asked for assistance with getting into train station and finding the right train if that was the last leg of the tour. Otherwise - Great customer service from Tour Operator! They are willing to help anytime they can no matter how small your question/problem was. Small group is excellent and easier to go around.

This was our first guided Tour and we were very satisfied with it. It was not cheap but totally worth its price. We wouldn't be able to organize and experience all these beautiful locations within 7 days. Everything was planned very well and it was adapted to our needs. Every single of the Tour Guides was a professional expert in his/her area and we had a lot of good conversations about Culture, History and habits in South Korea. Many thanks to hearty Clover for the unforgettable days on Jeju, to Kevin for all his energy and knowledge about Busan and Gyeongju and to Harry for great organization and short-time changes and help according to our requests and his insights about Korean History in Seoul. We enjoyed it very much and can recommend this 100%.

The price was worth it. Experiences and transfers were seamless. You won't get it if you are doing this on your own. Our guides for each of the segment: Jeju, Busan and Soul were knowledgeable and very friendly. Local experiences and side stories are priceless. It is just not about ticking the place off your bucket list, it added more dimensions to it. South Korea is beautiful, the guides are so helpful. I would like to give a shout out to our guides Ji Young, Sang and Harry, you have done well and please continue the good work. All of you are true ambassadors of your country.
