Relaxing Mt. Fuji visit

Everything went as planned - arrival, drop-off and sites visited. The lunch location (Lawson Station) was really not ideal as we searched high and low to find a place to eat while other stops like Oishi Park had restaurants everywhere. Also, we could have spent less time at Lake Yamanaka (20 minutes is plenty), and more time at the Chureito Pagoda, as it is quite a hike and climb to get there and we weren't advised, so we were a bit rushed for time, especially with all the crowds. Driver didn't speak any English but we managed with a translator, so keep in mind that communication is limited if you don't speak Japanese.

The entire experience was a ok and average. Weather was bad. Couldn’t see Mt, Fuji. Bus took us to a small ski resort to go sledding. Felt like more of a kids experience. Going to shopping outlet mall was the biggest drawback. Would have like to see a small Japanese town or something different.

This tour was somewhat a disappointing experience and definitely not what we expected. It is sold as English speaking tour. Our driver was a very nice guy, but he didn’t speak English at all. I don’t expect people in Japan to speak English, however when I buy an English speaking tour I do expect the guide or the driver to provide some explanations in English. We were given plastic card in English that had less information than an email I received with the details of the tour. Your had zero educational experience. It was also centered around taking pictures of Mt Fuji only from otherwise unremarkable places. The only visit to the temple at the end was a very nice experience . I wouldn’t recommend this tour unless you are looking for transportation from Tokyo to the places from where you can take pictures of Mt.Fuji.

All went well! The driver was on time and did its best to give us as much time as possible at each stop. We arrived quite late in Tokyo (around 8:30pm) due to traffic jams, but it wasn’t the driver’s fault.

The vehicle was excellent the driver was nice an polite. The experience was not as expected. English was not spoken and communication was via WhatsApp. The stops were not as described. Why you would stop at a convenience shop for over an hour with no seating and nothing around i have no idea. The clock shop is a shop with a clock on top and the quaint paved streets nowhere to be seen. I will admit that the weather was poor however the inability to interact with the driver made the experience challenging.
