  Wonderful dive to Singaporean food culture, history, everyday living, values, way of life. Richard was a very good, funny and informative guide, also the food selection was nice & interesting. We would not have tasted these kind of street foods without his experience. Well organized. Warm recommendation!

  This is the only tour you need to take! Ask for Ping! She was the Best Tour guide we have ever had! She walked us thru many areas and the food was very tasty! We couldn’t have done this on our own.   Ping went the extra mile to make this tour as enjoyable as possible for us. She is a really knowledgeable guide and passionate about her country and brought the tour to life. The food was interesting with the highlight being the final stop. No spoilers ! Would thoroughly recommend.

  The food was fabulous. Darius was very knowledgeable with foodie and local general knowledge. Very enthusiastic and funny, with his partner Natalia made the night truly enjoyable.

  Our tour was with Richard. He was very funny and kind. He told many stories and was very informed. The food was very tasty and well balances (also not too much or too little). Overall a great tour ;)

  I have no idea how this has 4.8/5 on trip advisor…. One of the worst and most disappointing experiences I’ve paid for travelling. It’s titled as “Singapore street food and night tour”, but the food is terrible and you’re better off not eating it. Experience was 6pm-9:30ish pm. Only 4 food stops. Quite strict timetable on the food stops and we were often left waiting filling time with small talk before leaving to the next place, with plates full of unappetising food. No one was asking for any more. I’m from the UK and my opinion of the food was that if you went to any backend town, found a 1 star Chinese or Indian restaurant and asked for the cheapest thing they had on the menu, you would still get better food than we were offered on this tour. Honestly an embarrassing offer of what Singapore has to offer in terms of food and culinary experience. Shaun our guide was great, very nice and knowledgeable about Singapore and is a true local. He would be a great tour guide on a different tour that isn’t pretending to offer a Singapore culinary experience, and would probably earn himself a lot of tips on another walking/ cultural tour. The walking part of the tour was good and were guided around Singapore with shortcuts and local knowledge. Views of Marina Bay Sands hotel and photograph opportunities. AVOID if you want anything nice to eat. Just do a free walking tour instead and tip your guide. Incredibly expensive for very little

  

  

  

• Not worth the money

  Shawn our guide was first class despite the poor food. The cost of the trip hugely outweighed the food we were given, not worth the money we paid. Being as the tour started at Clarkes Quay we thought that that was where the tour was heading, unfortunately not.

  While our guide was incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, this felt more like a walking tour that happened to include food. Unfortunately, the food quality was poor. Across our group of five couples, the sentiment was unanimous—the choices weren’t enjoyable, and despite being hungry, we left a significant amount behind at every stop. Suggestions for improvement: Better food quality, more protein-based options, and a more consistent pace of tastings throughout the tour rather than just at the beginning and end.

  We had Darius (and Nat who did a great job of going ahead and making sure the food places were ready for us - thank you Nat) and he was very entertaining with lots of stories and background to Singapore. And pointing out places we likely would’ve missed. There’s a bewildering number of street food/hawker places and we visited 4. Definitely our favourite was the final one - Satay Street. Delicious satay. Recommended as an intro to both Singapore and its food.
