You will share a snowmobile with another person, taking turns as the driver and passenger. Halfway through the tour, we’ll have a short break where you’ll swap places, ensuring both of you have the chance to drive the snowmobile.
After the tour, you can relax and warm up with a hot meal and drink by the open fire inside one of the lávvus (indigenous Sámi tent). During your meal, a camp host will inform you where and when you are expected for the second part of your activity: the visit to Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park.
Enter the Park and discover the magic of the snow and ice sculptures. Wander around by yourself through a mesmerising display of snow and ice sculptures, a snow maze and explore our two domes. Marvel at the amazing art coming to life with light in its natural surroundings of pristine nature and peaceful Arctic landscapes. Get close to the two most iconic animals of Northern Norway: cuddle and take photos with our huskies and go visit the reindeers near the park.

Such a fun experience. The snowmobiling was the most exciting. Wish we could have done the ice domes

Went with Norwegian tours in Feb 25. Transfer from Tromso is a nice bus trip. Snowmobiling is ok. Not what we expected as its not an adrenaline type activity. Its a bit sedate. You get kitted up, so only needed bottom layers. The route they take you is out in to a valley and around in a few circles then change over and head back. Was ok but I shouldn't have got the extra insurance which is 300 NOK each as i don't think you need it. The course is flatish, you get to go full speed which is still fairly slow. 2 people tipped over as they are not as stable as you would think but it caused no damage and they pushed them back up and off they went. The food in the tent type building was a lovely chilled out way to spend a few hours. The staff were really nice and helpful and you could have more of anything, The reindeer soup dish was nice and heating your bread on the fire was a bit of fun too. After this we went to the ice domes which was nice to look around albeit a bit small, so about 30 mins is enough. The big negative was not getting to cuddle a husky. They don't plan that in. So we got to see about 5 reindeer in a small fenced of area. The guide did a good talk about them. Then we went to see the huskies by ourselves and got to stroke one through the fence. All in all not a bad tour, bit expensive and I think doing the huskies sledging would have been better for us. We did have a good day and they look after you well. Think they could improve the second part of the day by adding in the huskies which would fit how they describe it and so is what I think people who book it would expect.

Booked the trip and was very excited for the experience. Unfortunately had to cancel 3 days prior due to a bereavement in the family and having to travel home immediately. The company offered no refund whatsoever, nor did they even offer a voucher for the value of the experience we had paid for as we had hoped to come back sometime to do it. It would have been simple and essentially free gesture for them and they do not even have that goodwill.

We did the Winter Wonderland experience with our one year old. Staff were really friendly. You got a good amount of time on the snow sledging around. Great opportunities for photos. We then watched a short pantomime which was better than I was expecting it to be and our son enjoyed it. We then went to the village area and saw all of the animals which was really nicely presented. There were also a few games and photo opportunities. Would recommend.

As others have said, you don't get a lot of time on the snowmobile considering the cost of the tour. However it's well organised, a very scenic drive there and a good experience, something I'd never tried before so would recommend it. The lunch and drinks provided were delicious too. Camp Tamok is a nice set up and the people working there are very friendly and helpful. It's also possible to see huskies before they go for a run. The ice domes are a nice add on but I wouldn't pay to see them separately - it's quite a small area. The same goes for the reindeer.

The snowmobile excursion was exceptional, we had fun and admired a beautiful landscape, they equipped us with everything we needed to wear over our clothes and we did not suffer the cold. We had a very nice guide Thomas, who explained everything before leaving. After the snowmobile ride we ate in a Sami tent and both lunch and atmosphere were pleasant and fulfilling. Very kind girls who served us. We waited about an hour in a heated room before the next visit. The only disappointment was the visit to Ice domes: they told us that they had problems with the climate and there were only 4 sculptures, not as in the photos. The visit to the reindeer is a view of their enclosure , you can not approach it and there are 4 reindeer in an enclosure that you can see from a distance, do not imagine the contact or the possibility of approaching.

Had a really good day, our favourite trip of the holiday. Snowmobiling was so much fun, got a good 45-50mins each out on the snowmobile (wish it was more!). The food in the lavvu was really good and a nice experience speaking with other people on the trip and the staff. The staff were really good and couldn’t do more for you! Ice domes/snow park was impressive but there was a bit of a wait between food/going into the snow park.
