First of all You can choice between a Shared small group tour or a Private Tour only for Your party.

The Tour takes you into the historic Taormina’s old city centre, and ideal place to get a real taste of Taormina. Savour its delicious food, soak in its vibrant culture, and meet the people who keep so many wonderful food & wine traditions alive.

Meeting at Porta Messina, the entrance ancient gate of Corso Umberto, find the traditional food spots in town on a 2 hours and half Tour! Led by a local food & wine loving guide You will visit 3 different venues:

-In the first one You will be welcoming with a Prosecco glass. Here You will try different samples of fresh SEAFOOD accompanied by typical sicilian white wine.

-In the second Venue You will try some samples of Sicilian LANDFOOD accompanied by typical Sicilian Red Wine.

-Third Venue will be a Typical Sicilian Patisserie for Sicilian pastries & liquors

Sample a variety of delicious regional specialties. Eat and drink like Locals do!

Experience is everything that is detailed and more, got to try foods I had before and new foods I would be scared to try. If you have an allergy or don’t like something that is offered hosts are more than accommodating to change something or offer something different. There isn’t a lot of knowledge based talking regarding the foods, short and informative information regarding the food and what makes it special. Our tour guide Giovanni was lovely, knowledgable, and upbeat. He gave some good hints and tips on the food and where to go and on best experiences and places to visit the island to get the best experience of Siciliy. There wasn’t a lot of walking involved, I had expected a lot more, so anyone that is put off by the thought of a lot of walking this tour is prefect as it is short stops between restaurants.

These food and walking tours are a great way of learning about where you are visiting in an easy to enjoy way. Tour guide Jerry was exceptional, a kind gentleman of the world with local knowledge that he imparted to us including hints and tips. One of our stops was to the pistachio shop Nove (there are many pistachio shops in Taormina) but this one serves pistachio coffee, various cakes and a fabulous pistachio spritz - delicious.

Absolutely wonderful tour!! Found it for my husband and I last minute the day before we left Taormina and wish we had done it sooner! Giovanni has so much personality and was a wonderful guide. The food was delicious and the wines were flowing. Lovely group as well!
