The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour in at least 4 stops around the historical center of Parma. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

5.00Linda was our guide today in Parma, she was exceptionally knowledgeable. She made the tour a wonderful experience. She was very easy to talk to and kindly went out of her way to get information for us. She took us to 4 restaurants for our four courses and explained the local food, the cheese, the wine, the balsamic vinegar. Linda even helped me with some details for shopping for a wool coat, it was a fun day!
Anna Maria is a wonderful tour guide! Highly recommended!

5.00My fiancé and I had such a fantastic time on the food tour with Anna Maria!! Unfortunately we had trouble parking, but Anna Maria was very understanding and patient and helped directly guide us to where she and the others were. She greeted us kindly and cheerfully. The whole afternoon was exciting and adventurous! Anna Maria told us so much about the food, the wine, the desserts, and the history. She answered all of our questions. She is so knowledgeable, friendly, and gracious. Anna Maria gave me great guidance on what kind of Parmesan cheese to buy to take home. 😀 I highly recommend any tour with Anna Maria! We’re going to recommend Anna Maria and the tour to all of our friends! Anna Maria is a wonderful tour guide! Highly recommended!

5.00Anna Maria made our experience in Parma, so wonderful! We were a little late because we had trouble parking, but Anna Maria was very helpful, patient, and understanding.. we learned so much about Parma, the culture, and a wonderful food and wine. Anna Maria made the tour so enjoyable! We hope that we can take another tour led by her. Highly recommended!

5.00Federico was an excellent guide. The places he took us to were amazing. We got to taste all the local specialties and he gave us even more info about things we were seeing in Parma. Federico accommodated our late arrival because our train was cancelled and helped us to find foods for a member of our family who cannot have gluten. He’s also an interesting and warm person to speak with.

5.00Good and the right quantity of information. Very competent and charming tour guide. We were only two guests during this tour and could fully profit from her experience (Anna Maria). Nice locations were chosen. Not only the dishes were explained but als the making and the locations where the food and/or ingredients come from or are refined.
