This 3-hour tour includes a 1-hour Tai Chi class and the tour of the Temple of Heaven. The temple is located in the southeast of Beijing downtown with a very exquisite design. In the past dynasties of ancient China, emperors would hold ceremony of worshiping the Heaven and pray for favorable weather and abundant harvests. The main building in the temple is the "Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest".

Note: Your tour can be started from either 9am or 2pm. Preferably in the morning since it appears to be more lively and more things to see in The Temple of Heaven.

The Temple of Heaven was the place where the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would worship Heaven and pray for good harvest.It covers a space of 273 hectares in all. Built first in 1420, the Temple of Heaven is a grand and magnificent masterpiece of architecture with a formal and solemn environment.

Highly recommend this! We had a fascinating and fun few hours with Eric understanding some of the context of the stunning Temple of Heaven, its buildings, and of course TaiChi. Eric was very friendly, interesting and knowledgeable about lots of things we wanted to know!

Eric is a great guide and speaks English very well! He knows a lot of fascinating stories and facts about the Temple of Heaven and the park around it. The Tai Chi lesson was amazing and inspired me to take regular lessons in the future. I highly recommend this tour!!!

This was super awesome. Our guide was great and he was really helpful. He took us to the Pearl market which is right across the road from the temple of heaven. I highly recommend you do this when you visit China....

The tai chi class was great and the Temple of Heaven very beautiful. I also loved the art studio where the tai chi class was taught. I bought several things there.
