Tsukiji Fish Market

Tsukiji Fish Market, opened in 1935 on reclaimed land in central Tokyo, grew into the **world’s largest wholesale seafood market** and a global icon of Japanese food culture. In October 2018 its inner wholesale operations, including the famed tuna auctions, moved to Toyosu, but the adjacent **Outer Market**—home to about 400 stalls and small restaurants—still buzzes with shoppers and diners.[5] Long nicknamed **“Tokyo’s Kitchen,”** it remains a lively spot to sample fresh sashimi, street snacks, and pick up specialty kitchenware amid a uniquely bustling atmosphere.

Senso-ji Temple

Sensō-ji, located in the Asakusa district, is Tokyo's oldest and most significant Buddhist temple. According to legend, it was founded in 645 AD to enshrine a golden statue of Kannon, the bodhisattva of compassion, that two fishermen discovered in the Sumida River in 628. The temple's famous entrance is the Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), which features a massive red lantern and leads to the Nakamise-dōri, a historic street lined with traditional shops. The main complex includes a five-story pagoda and the main hall, which are reconstructions built after the original structures were destroyed in World War II. Today, Sensō-ji is a powerful symbol of rebirth and peace, attracting over 30 million visitors annually, making it one of the most frequented spiritual sites in the world.

Daniel was so much fun to hang out with. I love the tour and altitude. He kept my family and I entertained. The tour was more than I expected, he drove us around Tokyo. There was so many things to see and a short period of time. But Daniel found a way to show us everything and more. At the end of the tour he heard I wanted a Louis vuitton purse. He went out his way to take me shopping. I am so grateful to met him. Daniel thank you so much for making this a tour of a lifetime. I highly recommend Daniel a thousand times to my family and friends

Daniel is well speaking in English and other languages. He was very informative and attentive to our needs the whole day. He had an agenda for us but allowed us to do some things that we wanted with absolutely no problems. Great day in Tokyo

We had an incredible day exploring Tokyo thanks to our private driver, Daniel. From 9 AM to 5 PM, he made sure we experienced the city exactly the way we wanted. Daniel was not only professional and punctual, but also flexible, allowing us to stop at shops, take photos, and explore at our own pace. He shared helpful insights about the city while effortlessly navigating the busy streets, making the day completely stress-free. Thanks to him, we saw all the must-see sights and discovered hidden gems we never would have found on our own. We had a full and great day yesterday with our private chauffeur and guide Daniel. He was super nice. We first stopped at the Odaiba District to great views of the Rainbow Bridge and got to see the replica of the Statue of Liberty. We then went to Tsukiji Market for both savory and sweet snacks. On to Ginza for a quick walk-around and then Tokyo Station and some light shopping in Akihabara area. Daniel took us by the Imperial Palace and then we stopped to visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine. Such a lovely walk through the forest on the way to the shrine, and we were lucky to witness a wedding procession while there. We then went to the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan government building to get an amazing panoramic view of Tokyo. We wrapped up the day with passing by Harajuku Station, the famous Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower. We saw a lot in one day and Daniel was a great guide and knowledgeable of all the places we visited. It was raining here and there and he had umbrellas for us.
