We had a great experience! Our tour guide told us interesting history on the temple and other areas we explored. We enjoyed the market and had several great foods. He was friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our time with him. We learned a lot about Tokyo!

Our tour guide was fantastic and very caring. We ran into an older man who had fallen down and our guide immediately ran over to help him up. Great tour.

Traveled with my husband and 2 sons (20 and 11). We enjoyed learning about the temple. There were many things we wouldn’t have otherwise known if we had ventured alone. We went on a bit of a shopping excursion, down one of the well traversed streets. Although we were far more interested in shrines and temples it was a nice walk. We followed that up eating a trio of foods authentic to Japan. If you have a picky palate, that’s where it got tricky. 1/2 of us, myself and 11 year old, didn’t confidently eat any of the items. I’m sure if we had been more upfront about our pickiness, this would have been avoided as our guide was incredibly accommodating. We on the other hand were still in cultural surprise, and adjusting to the 14 hour time difference. Thank you for offering this wonderful experience. I would recommend! And discuss with your guide if something is more important to you than other things. He was also great about giving suggestions to us when our tour was complete and we planned to further navigate the area.

This was an excellent tour and Sowa. our tour guide, did a fantastic job showing us around, including some areas we would not have known when searching online. Sowa is friendly and answered all our questions about the area, history and food. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great private tour. Super informative, we wouldn’t have been able to do the temple and prayers without a guide. We then got to see the kitchen shopping street which was fantastic.

We had another great experience! Both my wife and I love history and appreciate learning from locals, and this tour definitely met our expectations. Sowa was very informative, took plenty of pictures, and even sent them to us afterward. He spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful throughout the tour.

The challenge is how to provide a personal, fun, and educational tour at a site where hundreds of people are milling around in 90-degree heat? Our guide, Ryota, with TripPort, accepted this challenge and delivered an exceptional experience for my son and me. Sensoji Temple is packed during the summer tourist season. This guided tour was exceptionally well planned, allowing you to access the best of what Sensoji has to offer without overwhelming you. Our guide expertly guided us away from the dense crowds whenever possible, while sharing all the information we could have wanted about the temple and the area. He generously answered our many questions, mixing in his own experience with the temple's incredible history. The tour is timed exceptionally well, with breaks at exactly the right times. The walk to Kappabashi Street (Kitchen Town) was a stroke of genius. It gave us a chance to reflect on the temple experience and talk about Tokyo as a whole. Ryota gave us tips for the rest of our stay and shared personal stories. We HIGHLY recommend this tour with TripPort!

We really enjoyed this tour; just the 2 of us with our guide Roka. A really nice guy who passed on a lot of interesting information about both the Senso-ji Temple and various street foods (a good variety by the way). We then walked down Kappabashi street full of kitchenware (buying 2 sake cups to use as egg cups at home!). We had time to visit the Higashi Hongan-ji Temple which was as calm and tranquil as the Senso-ji was busy and crowded (a much better experience). A great couple of hours.
