Each gondola can host maximum 5 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending of guests weight.

The Gondola Ride does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather or high/low tide (in these cases it can be postponed the days after otherwise it will be refunded)

The itinerary may change in the event of wind or bad weather

The guide will be only on one gondola, the participants on the others gondola will listen to her/him with the audio-devices

The live commentary will be only in English, French, Spanish and Italian. The commentary on German, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, and Russian will be provided by mobile app downloaded on the own devices.

The live commentary IS NOT included in the PRIVATE OPTION

The gondola ride itself was only about 25 minutes. The rest was a 15 minute walking tour from the meet up place to the gondolas. It was cool but disappointing for the amount of time spent actually in the gondola

The gondola tour is generally a good experience. The tour guide led us from the meeting point to the pier and we rode the gondola for about half an hour around the city. But one thing to note is that we spent about 20-30mins waiting for people running late and walking slowly towards the pier. I think it would be better if this part can be skipped to save time.

This was a good experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and we were organised well into groups. The only downside I thought was the commentary could’ve continued throughout the Canal cruise.

This was more than a gondola ride. Prior to boat we viewed a virtual reality history of Venice, not too long tho. Very informative. Gondola ride was all thru the "streets" of Venice rather than boating around the grand canal. Highly recommend. A little hard to find meeting point. Seems most are written by locals who know the city but extremely difficult for 1st time tourist. I suggest meeting at nearest vaporetto (water taxi) spot since majority must use that to get to tour. We missed another tour because we couldn't find it in time.

It was average. The gondola ride was short with no commentary while on the gondola. Did not visit key places. The walking tour was useless. VR was the best part.
