Come and learn how we make South Loch Gin! Our gin stills are stunning and are the prefect way to learn how gin is made. We welcome you with a gin and tonic. While you enjoy your G&T we talk you through the process of making gin from botanical to bottle! You then get to try three gins made on our stills paired with premium mixers. At the end of the session you get a gin cocktail topped with bubbly to enjoy. At the end of the session you get a gin cocktail to enjoy! - This session is approximately 60-75mins long and is hosted by one of our gin team - Strictly over 18s (we operate Challenge 25 for ID) - Includes G&T on arrival, 3 gin samples, gin cocktail

5.00Neil (Nigel) was absolutely amazing!!! I didn’t realize how much I loved gin. I may even stop using tonic. Fantastic presentation and even a wee bit of acting. Superb!

5.00We were only in Edinburgh for a day, and this was a great tour following a busy start. We had a gin & tonic on arrival, then tasted three south loch gins, followed by a cocktail at the end. We booked as a group of 4 and there were 5 others in this tour. It was a lively and very interesting gin tour, and the guide, Neil, was great and very knowledgeable!

5.00Great tasting today with Neil. Neil was entertaining, friendly and informative. A great insight into how gin is made in their mini distillery. The tour was personal with a small group size so any questions were answered individually or shared with the group. We started with a g&t followed by three samples with optional tonic or ginger ale then followed with a gin cocktail upstairs in the main bar. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and like a gin or two!

5.00Neil was an absolutely wonderful host, taking us through some of the best gins we’d ever tasted with such contagious passion and enthusiasm. You can definitely tell he truly loves what he does and has a wealth of knowledge on a huge variety of different gins. Even after the official tasting was over, my partner and I stayed back and chatted with Neil for quite a while and he gave us some brilliant recommendations! If anyone is ever looking for an entertaining, great value, enjoyable evening in Edinburgh - I’d highly recommend this experience!
