Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesday, we will offer a walking tour instead on those days.

When the State Apartments are closed the Precincts, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Drawings Gallery will continue to be open.
St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.

You will get to the first stop of the day, Windsor Castle, for about 9:30am. This 900 year-old castle perches proudly on a lush wooded hill overlooking the Thames. With its sweeping landscaped gardens and imposing turret, It’s easy to see why Windsor Castle is loved by King Charles II.

5.00Is was a very quick trip through each place. Our guide made sure we all knew the times and everyone was back on time. A bit disconcerted at first as it was in English and then Mandarin, got used to it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and always had a smile. Our driver was also very good, thank you for a lovely day.
Stone Hinges and Windsor Tour

3.00The bus seat belts was getting locked and we struggled to open the belts. In a 12 hours 30 minutes tour, no comfort breaks (breakfast and lunch) was given and the bus arrived back in London 1 hour 30 minutes before time. We were running around to finish seeing Stone Hinges and Windsor Castle so that we could get, bit of time to grab some food. The guide wasn't good. He said nothing about the background of Stone Hinges and very sparingly spoke about Windsor. He was more interested about Harry Potter. His behaviour was also quite rude.
