Embark on an exciting buggy adventure starting right from your Reykjavik hotel! We'll pick you up & whisk you off to our base camp, where the real fun begins. Upon arrival, you'll meet your buggy and receive comprehensive safety instructions, ensuring you can enjoy the ride with confidence.

Then we leave our basecamp & after a short drive on the asphalt road, we'll transition to off-road terrain, setting the stage for an adrenaline-filled journey. Toward Reykjavik Peak Mountain, From the peak will you'll be treated to awe-inspiring vistas of the Hengill mountain range, Iceland's third most active volcanic system, Feast your eyes on the panoramic spectacle of Faxaflói bay and the entire capital region, with the majestic Bláfjöll mountain range & Esja, Reykjavik's iconic landmark, standing tall against the skyline.

The 2 Hour Twin Peak Quad Adventure surpassed all our expectations for both my wife and I sharing one Quad Having already completed Tours to the Blue Lagoon , Golden Circle , Whale Spotting and Northern Lights , The 2 hour twin peak quad adventure was the best by a country mile , it was exciting, value for money and extremely enjoyable, if I could score a 10 we would do

The trip started off with our friendly driver, Paula who brought us to base and helped us get fitted into cold weather gear. Admittedly I thought the layers seemed a bit over the top- but it was perfect for our windy and foggy ride. Sir Kaktuz guided us through breathtaking views with ease. We drove through bumps and mud and water and had an absolutely wonderful time. Would definitely recommend!

What a great private tour we had in Reykjavik! Everything was super taken care of! Overalls, helmets and the buggies were already ready when we arrived. And what a sweet and enthusiastic guide we had who took the time for a nice photo stop along the way and even let us drive through the water, it was great! We really enjoyed it!

From start to finish we loved this activity. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The ATV ride was fun and the views were beautiful. We didn’t want an all day trip so this was just perfect.
Driving buggies under electricity cables

We did the 2 hour buggy adventure. We didn’t actually like the route alone the way. And this is because we had to drive for at least 1 hour, not even close but LITERALLY under the high voltage electricity cables all along the way. There was only one little part of the route, no more than 100-200 meters long, that was really nice, when we crossed a small river and guess what, that was where our tour guide stopped and took some pictures of us which of course was totally misleading of the experience and the views as a whole. Iceland is one of the most picturesque countries in the world, the things we’ve seen during our 15days roadtrip were beyond imagination. And on our last day we ended up driving buggies under electricity towers. What a shame.

This trip was soooooo much fun! I have never driven an ATV before this trip. I felt well educated and informed about what to expect and how to use the ATV. Our guide was Gonzalo, and I can't say enough about how great he was. They gave us suits, helmets and gloves to wear. The facility was IMMACULATE. I will do another tour, hopefully a longer one, when I visit Reykjavik again.

Our family had so much fun on the tour. Jacob was ecstatic to finally go up the mountain. He waited the whole trip for this. Cactus wild was a fantastic tour guide. He is very funny and makes people that are uneasy feel very comfortable. Highly recommended! Beautiful view from the mountain!!
