It is the most affordable option to reach Machu Picchu. You will travel on safe and comfortable tourist transportation, the best alternative to get to the Hidroeléctrica.

We pick you up from your hotel in downtown Cusco to travel Machu Picchu Classic.

You will walk the famous Hidroeléctrica–Machu Picchu route. Enjoy different landscapes and see much of the Andean nature. You can be one of the first groups of the day to visit Machu Picchu. You will arrive in the city of Cusco before 10 pm.

Aguas Calientes

We arrive at Hidroelectrica and you start the walk toward Aguas Calientes (3 hrs). Once in Aguas Calientes, you head to your lodging to register. The guide's assistant arrives at the lodge to guide you through the steps to follow on this tour tomorrow. You will have free time to walk around the town, go for dinner and rest for the big day tomorrow.

Machu Picchu

You have a good breakfast at your lodging. You meet the guide at the time and place arranged the night before. You go walking or by bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (bus ticket not included). When you arrive at the citadel entrance gate, the main guide will be waiting for you at 7am. You start the guided tour visiting all of Machu Picchu (3 hrs). You have free time to walk around the ruins and take incredible pictures. You start the trip back to Aguas Calientes by bus (20 min) or on foot (about 1 hr 30 min). (bus ticket not included). From Aguas Calientes, you start your walk back to Hidroelectrica (about 2.5 hrs). You arrive at Hidroelectrica (make sure you arrive on time). You return to Cusco by bus (the bus leaves at the agreed time). You arrive in downtown Cusco full of memories of your adventure at approx. 10:00 p.m.

It was a pleasure to have worked with this tour agency. I loved the Machu pichu tour!! I really enjoyed how everything was seamless and organized for me. It made the whole thing stress free, exactly what I needed in this moment. It was really helpful I didn't need to do any research about anything and could rely on the team to take care of everything☺️. The Machu pichu tour guide was excellent. His knowledge and attitude were awesome.

Great service, both from guides and via WhatsApp. Whenever we needed they were available to help and give good tips. They were punctual and friendly. We stopped to eat at great restaurants and we could see lamas from close. The experience with what a trip was wonderful and made all the difference on the trip. We loved the workshop with Andean Colors and the quadricycle tour through the lagoons and plantations in the sacred valley. They helped us buy tickets to Machu Picchu and if it weren’t for them we would not have achieved this dream! Nicolás and his team are 10! I recommend!!

It was an amazing experience, they helped us with organizing the whole trip, and it was perfect programming, spectacular tours, with very good guides, very good transportation and food. Highly recommended to continue visiting these places and schedule the ride with them.

It was my first solo trip, they helped me booking every tour to visit the main tourist attractions in Cusco, every time I asked something they helped me no matter what time it was. They offer great variety of tours and activities, these are in small groups so if you are solo traveling you get to know people from other countries so it’s a nice experience. I highly recommend visiting Machu Picchu also doing 2 lagoon tour on quad bike if you like adventure, as well as other activities like Humantay Lake, Rainbow Mountain and Sacred Valley tour. Overall very nice experience and it felt organized as they give you tips and recommendations about the city.
We hope to return one day.

My friends and I were a part of the 4-day tour with Nicholas from What a Trip - we ended up doing the Humantay Lake, city tour, Machhu Pichu and Rainbow Mountain. The experience was seamless despite the flight issues that we had. Nicholas and team were prompt, open to feedback and made everyone feel safe all the time.
